The actual line is “have the ear of the throne”, i.e., you’re a person of power and influence.
Which is funny, because if you take the boat over, they’ll totally say that to a level 10 scrub nobody’s ever heard of.

If you’re looking for a real answer to that question, it’s to distinguish NPCs and Players, especially important ones. They make most major lore characters much taller so when everyone crowds around them ,people can see who they’re clicking

Peeps complained the intro quests were too long for WoD…
At the end of the 99 fight we had to walk to the cave. This morning I did it and we went out the gate…woosh in cave. No walking no hurry up we were in cave. Best part is Thrall is with us. But but where does he go?

I’ve always found it rather creepy they laid eggs at all
Possibly it’s related to the dragons’ ability to lay eggs with all those great big spikes all over them, one of the most terrifying things in this game for those of us of the female persuasion. ( I know, I know, the eggs probably emerge in a somewhat softer form, and the spikes appear as part of the hardening process post-laying.)

I think it is what ducks “do.”
Ducks fly, but then change to the floating duck shape upon the water. So if they put in ducks, they’d have to do that. I can’t think of another in game creature that does such a thing. It is just such an iconic “duck thing”, that it would not make sense to have ducks in the game that just flew, then landed and walked around on land but were not “floating”/swimming around in the water like ducks do.
Maybe, but I think Ion is afraid of ducks.

You must have forgotten the death knight bug pre MoP I believe it was. The death knights left a mound of corpses there.
