Only One Way to Get Wrath Era Servers

The only way for Wrath era servers is for the people that really want them to unsub and list no Wrath era realms as the reason. Coming to the forums will do no good. Blizz has to see a drop in their bottom line and know why.

That is what people will be doing when the cataclysm patch comes. The problem is it’ll be too little too late for wrath. Wrath will already be gone.

But we can’t stop playing, it feels sooooo good. Oh yeah…

‘Straps ball-gag in mouth’

If Blizz sees enough subs lost then eventually Wrath era servers could come online. BUT people will have to unsub and stay unsubbed. I do not think there is enough people for Wrath era permanent servers

I would just twink it at 80 and pretend cata doesn’t exist. I mean given power buff and how level 80 cata blues are comperable to icc25, icc25 post cata capped at level 80 should be a nice casual experience blizzard and the Chinese gold farmers who post on level 10 warlock retail characters don’t want you to enjoy because it is not profitable.

I honestly think there would be for 1 full server.

There have only been less than two dozen posts asking for Wotlk era servers. with at most around 100 people agreeing. So taking into consideration people parroting on alts, that is at best 100 people playing on the server. I do agree there will people like myself that make a toon and occassionally login to play but how does a server that low on population stay fun?

Based on vanilla era experience post tbc, well it started small but it grew, it was genuinely a good place as the uber-geared but still needing a piece here and there were happy to run places like zg for mount and other items.

I honestly remember researching it a bit after it was out. But I wasn’t really into vanilla that much.

I liked wrath of the lich king though. That was my favorite expansion. To be honest, I am curious what the cost would be for just 1 permanent wrath classic server. As well as the cost of maintaining it. It isn’t like they would have to maintain like 30 servers like they do now.

I mean, would they make a profit off of permanent wrath classic. No. But they would still make a profit off the game in general going forward still. I wonder how much the permanent vanilla classic servers we have up now still are costing blizzard. If they do decide to do permanent wrath classic. Do like 2 servers max.

I think vanilla classic would have had a better turn out if they had just condensed server space to like 1 or 2 servers. And it probably would have saved money to.

And private servers, while people do play on them. It is illegal to do so. But I mean, if blizzard doesn’t provide them. Then that is where people go.

At the same time. It is getting frustrating. It has gone from requesting permanent wrath classic servers. And providing feedback as to why they exist. To demanding they exist. And I can understand why. January 4th marks the 2 month period since they commented on welcoming feedback for wrath classic. And people are starting to get impatient. They haven’t responded to us yet. And it is getting annoying.

Like I would have made a decision already. Like yes, we looked at the feedback. And we are making permanent wrath classic servers a reality. Or a we looked at the feedback, and no, we are not providing permanent wrath classic servers. Alot of us just want an answer already. Frustrating how we still don’t have a proper response yet.

Wrath couldnt even survive SoD in the middle of ICC. Its not as popular as you think

Depends on server. My server does stuff all the time. I just don’t feel like playing lol.

Because it sucks. And even the most lively of servers are suffering

I mean there the no plans for wrath era currently bull which saw a decline wrath was strong and growing before then.

It was ghost towns full of raid loggers well before the announcement. The rose tinted glasses did not hold up

At this point the i really wouldnt expect a wrath era server unless they are keeping their intentions hidden like they did with rdf. Ive already downloaded private server client again cus im not expecting one to be available. They are gonna be saving me a subscription fee and when i start playing there again at least i know its not gonna be hijacked by some retail fan boys. Which is really the way this version of wrath has felt all along.

Saw this post and you’re absoutely right.

So I went ahead and did exactly that. I was dumb enough to buy that 12 month sub before Blizzcon so I’ll still be able to play for the remainder of Wrath.

But at least I sent the message
