Only new PvP (434) gear I see is bloody tokens?

Jesus Christ, dude. You’re acting like someone punched your grandma in the back of the head. You ok?

Yeah it was me.

Some extra informations to add when it comes to PvP gearing this season.

We will soon have Shadowed Belt Clasp (+106 Stamina at max quality, without including the +15% Stamina PvP trinket bonus) showing up during the next 3 weeks at the AH from Blacksmiths getting the 80 to 105 Barter Bricks required (Exchange 80 barter bricks for a Glimmerogg Timeshare Voucher from Ponzo to get the recipe Shadowed Belt Clasp from Kilnmaster Crubus, Exchange 25 Barter Bricks for Ponzo’s cream from Ponzo to get the Shadowed Alloy recipe also from Kilnmaster Crubus), to craft it. That’s a new belt “enchant” that wasn’t available during Season 1. Just don’t forget to check the AH for it over the season, grab it when it’s cheap or get the mats for a crafting order eventually.

We have more options than Season 1, and I would even say any seasons of Shadowlands. A casual PvPer can just get the Honor gear, and then get the Conquest gear. Maybe flirt with the idea of 1-2 crafted items, and that’s the easy paved road!

Vanazar said it in his post above, it’s only 2 embellished items, but Sparks will get pumped out after 2 weeks over the next… 4 months if we expect the same season time as Dragonflight season 1. That mean after 2 embellished items, you’ll still get extra sparks if you continue doing the quests.

Below is for the min/maxing PvP Players, I don’t want to overcomplicated things for people.

If you don’t like any of the stats on your Conquest gear options (As a priest, I get 2 options. Conquest chest is either versa/crit or versa/haste, but no versa/mastery, and it’s a bit different for every slots). You can just take your extra sparks (after you got your 2 embellished items of course!). Buy a Trophy of your choice (Prices of Trophy) which is the same price as a Conquest Piece for the slot you are crafting, so you’re not losing any conquest in the trade, you just have to pay the extra for the mats on the side.

And go to the crafting station to craft any slots (except weapon and trinket), and you make sure to have a Draconic Missive (Mastery/Haste ; Versa/Haste ; Versa/Mastery ; Versa/Crit ; Crit/Mastery ; Crit/Haste ) of your choice. During season 1, you could see people doing that with Drakebreaker gear (World PvP gear) instead, even if the Ilvl was a bit lower, the stats could just be better.

By the end of the season, we could see people having up to 8 slots of PvP crafted gear. Missive are also “equal” stats. You get the same “stat weight” for both secondary stats. Conquest gear isn’t… it’s 30-40% secondary stat and 60-70% versatility overall if I check Season 1. Your crafted piece is 50-50% for secondary stats. So if you don’t want versatility over the 30% soft cap, that’s a lovely option to reduce your versatility by “reforging” a part of your versa into a secondary stat! You can even recraft your crafted PvP gear without refarming the spark currently. (Checking with my pants at max quality, it’s only a new missive + 5 artisan’s mettle + 4 spool of wilderthread and 5 Vibrant Wildercloth bolt, the rest of the items like the spark and trophy are reused. You do need to find a private recrafted instead of using Public crafting).

That’s what Kangmurloc was referring to by having your favorite secondary stats and being super flexible! But so many options and plans to do when you add thinking about the right embellishment, the right tier pieces for your bonus, what the vault will give you along the way, etc, etc.

The only issue would be a lack of communication from Blizzard about an unknown Shadowflame cap. There was a maximum for Spark of Ingenuity, but that doesn’t look like it for Shadowflame when we check the WoWhead article (And I quote “every 2 weeks indefinitely”). Or if they decide to change recrafting to require a new Spark or new Trophy, or any other last changes along the way.

Okay stupid question but im brain farting atm. Will capping conq this week give current season gear after reset from the vault or the new gear?

I was thinking of doing boots. I’ll probably have boot/belt/cloak with embellishments. Doesn’t interfere with tier.

Should be current. I’m not doing mine.

Except its not free for at. Free for all is limited to a few areas in each zone! But its fun act like you know what your talking about.
