I know people who met their Significant Others in WoW and I’m happy for them.
I probably wouldn’t date within any video game community I’m involved in with very few exceptions though.
I met my current boyfriend from Australia on the WoW Mage discord called Altered Time. I was all heartbroken because I couldn’t figure out what I needed to do to boost my damage on my frost mage, and he messaged me and helped me. Next thing I know we’re watching the witcher together on cam through discord, then cuddling at my place is few months later.
I’d say it’s rare that it progresses into anything serious most of the time because video games don’t exactly attract the most mature audience, but if you meet someone you really like, and you’re both willing to put the effort in to make it work then it’s definitely worth trying.

A lot of online dating services are run by people who only seek to gain your personal data to hack your life, bots to increase trafic and behind pay wall interactions (send me a message, ill be leaving tomorrow), and some random dude.

There is a big difference between a Country trying to protect it’s citizens from a Global Pandemic and the things that Communist countries have done throughout history. As much as 2020-2021 feels like a Dystopia, it is not. This has happened before. The Spanish Flu ran for 2 years (1918-1920), after it was over, things got back to “normal”.

All i’m going to say on the matter is that if you date online be careful. You don’t know if the person is what they claim to be.

I met my spouse in WoW. What better way to find someone you are compatible with than meeting doing something you like doing… much better than meeting some rando in a bar.
I would be remiss to not state that prior to meeting them, I had another online relationship in a different MMO and got catfished about as bad as you can… After more than a year, found out that they were lying about pretty much everything, including their gender, just to get me to buy them things.
So… you can certainly meet someone special, but you have to be very careful as well.

No, this has never happened before. The world health organization and other “trusted figures” were COMPLETELY wrong about covid.
Places that have had 0 lockdowns or opened up early didn’t show the “spikes” that the officials claimed would happen.
Flattening the curve never happened either.
As for the people effected, they are overwhelmingly elderly or obese people with health complications.
Theres been 0 evidence that shows any benefit to young people, especially children, getting vaccinated. Yet now that is being pushed as well.
If it works for some people great.
I don’t think it’ll work for me unless I knew the person in RL on the other end first.

Correct. We have things like critical race theory that were just voted on and passed to be openly taught in California schools.
For anyone who thinks they can ignore this, you can’t. And its not just on twitter or college campuses now its everywhere.
Edit- Its not just California thats just the starting point it will be taught nationwide.
They will withold funding from conservative school districts that don’t want to go along with toxic nonsense being taught to children.

Idk about all those reports, but I can certainly believe that covid hasn’t helped anything. Tinder just seems like a big ol’ bag of NOPE for me. Never really had any luck with those sorts of things anyway.
