It works but its like real life blind dating…you can either meet an abusive or freaky person…or you can meet a completely normal person who’s gonna be cool. it sounds like you rolled too many crazies and never met a normal person.

I am currently on a dating site because I thought that I wanted to start dating again as restrictions are lifting in my State, but there are some “damaged” people out there. It might be good to remain single this Summer. The Summer of George!
On Tinder its become commonplace for people to put things like “Must be 6’0 or taller” “no trump supporters” ect on their profiles.
I’m too old for Tinder, but I have heard that it is a cesspool.
I met a cool girl in WoW during Wotlk, in hillsbrad foothills, both undead players. we online dated for awhile but eventually moved on as we lived in separate countries… I still think about her to this day.

I am fully vaccinated and going out this Thursday. I am just going to a dollar store, but it’s a start after being locked down for over a year. We will get back to normal. Keep the faith.
What do I think of online dating in WOW?
Met two girls through WOW one was controlling wouldn’t let me play WOW unless she said I could the second I actually met in real life and seemed it was going well but as always with me it ended.
Even tried other dating sites but as usual nothing really came from it so I gave up and am now “married” to my hospital job, not medical, and my 2011 KIA Soul Alien.
But if it works for some of you best of luck I now prefer to stay single so my heart shall never break.
Back in my day (early '90s) “online dating” meant hanging out on the BBS, then meeting up on the weekends for pool, handball, arcades, or whatnot.
So… I never used “online dating,” but I did meet my wife at a BBS meet back in '92. So … 2022 will be thirty years. Not bad, if I do say so myself.
As for WoW, no, I’ve never dated or hooked up or attempted to do so in WoW.

It’s largely overblown fear hyped up by media. States like Florida have already successfully opened up a lot of things.
Theres no reason to still be under full lockdown other than failed politicians refusing to admit they were wrong.

I’m not a guy and I don’t do tinder but I just feel like I’d be happy if someone clearly said what they’re not looking for. Like idk if someone said no redheads I’d know I’m not for them and I’d be happy to not waste my time getting to know them or messaging them. Would I feel offended? Maybe a bit depending on my mood. But still better than messaging someone and getting ignored or rejected later on, isn’t it?

Eh, have you heard whats been happening in India? apparently new variant that spreads way faster. over 1 million cases in 3 days. but than again it could just be that way because India isnt the cleanest place. and 500k+ deaths is still a lot here in America.
Meeting someone in WOW is no worse really (and no better) than anywhere else.
Heck, for me it would easily beat going to a bar full of people that I know for certain are going to have pretty much nothing in common with me, and that I basically have to rely on copious alcohol to make walking up and talking to a stranger not seem utterly creepy.
That said, women in WOW tend to be married with children, and/or own cats.
And the being allergic to cats thing is why I will be permanently single. Finding someone was similar interests who doesn’t own cats is only slightly more likely than finding a unicorn.
Maybe if I was gay I’d be OK. (Actually, I’m fairly positive if I was gay I’d be happily married by now. Been hit on by a lot of dudes.)
