Do you just simp in every one of these threads?
It’d be nice if there was a fun dial that could be turned wouldn’t it? Unfortunately that’s not how it works. Everyone experiences fun in unique ways and making the great vault provide a piece gear for each of the activities (M+, Raid, PvP) would turn the fun dial down for a lot of people.
TLDR: There is no fun dial. The fun dial is a lie.

Ah yes, ‘mats’. Collect enough mats to build an item! A few mats from different crafters, and a rare mat that has a 3% droprate from a certain boss. Good idea!

OR. You could. You know. Raid, do more M+, Mythic, PvP for loot instead of relying on the vault.
Good thing though you didn’t start playing till WoD because Vanilla, BC etc. you wouldn’t have survived because to get loot you actually had to raid or pvp. There were no vaults or other end games means to get loot besides raiding or pvp.
These new generation of BfA players just expect BiS 3 weeks into a new expansion, it takes time to build the gear you want again and I love it.
This information has been known for some time now. Did you really just find out? Maybe try researching the game you play and are so upset over but yet don’t know how the gearing system works.

Years of loot pinatas, easy epics, being called the champion, having gear showered on you. Blizzard trained their players to expect this, there should be no shock when they expect the same in the latest expansion.
