One. Item. Per. Week

The “great” vault gives one item a week. Not one per row. Not one for pvp, one for raiding, and one for mythics. ONE PER WEEK.

Blizzard, you own the video game World of Warcraft. This isn’t joe’s unity asset store furnished indy mmo that never leaves alpha, this is WoW. You will have millions of people giving you $15+ a month for the foreseeable duration of existence. Turning the fun dial from .004 to .006 will cost you ZERO REVENUE.

The system is working as intended, i’ll never understand all the people complaining about loot. They just expect BfA style loot where they get full BiS 3 weeks into an expansion, I feel like people need to relax and just wait it out. They’ll eventually get all their pieces.

Please enjoy your weekly ration of one (1) item, comrade.

We have 18 item slots and each can get replaced by a higher ilevel upwards of 50 times an expansion. Putting in the work (WORK wow, what am I doing with my life?) to get 2 or maybe 3 items from 3 different kinds of content isn’t going to BiS anyone too fast.

You’re being awarded for effort this time around instead of time played, if you complete all the Great Vault requirements which are super minimal then you’ll get high iLevel pieces as the game progresses. Remember you have 2 years to do this, things will even out.

Biggest jebait ever, pretty sure everyone expected to get an item per activity completed. Its actually quite hilarious that you can only get 1 item… I mean whats the point of doing all 3 then? That is so much effort for a dogsht reward.

Some of us actually bothered learning how the vault worked

You get a mythic piece for doing +15. Thats more than fair.

Like they say, you will eventually get geared in a few months time with 1 item per week, plus a lucky drop here and there. And then it will be time for a new content patch. And between now and then you can run the content hundreds of times as well – think of all that play content! I mean, you play for the content, not the gear, right? You’d be running it hundreds of times anyway, right? It’s what the game is about, after all.

I noticed the wording on that last week and figured there would be some sadness today.

You want 3 pieces of gear per week from the vault? That’s actually crazy lol what

One nice item per week is fine.

Yea I can see that I guess. Maybe it will feel better later but right now its like, wow a week of hours every night working to get ONE UPGRADE. Each individual night of dungeons or pvp last week netted me multiple upgrades.

The game spits loot out at you at lightning speed already…and yet players want even more? I’m not advocating we go back to Vanilla days where you were lucky to get a new good piece of gear once every few weeks…but damn, are you really complaining about getting a guaranteed high ilvl item once a week?

I mean yea at the rate gear is dropping in pve and they can all be duplicates of what you got already anyway so its still hella rng. They don’t have to be the best items, but its not unreasonable for 3 pieces imo, IF you do ALL that content.

How many items do you want for the vault? How many bosses should you kill for what number of items? How many M+ should you run in your opinion?

In my opinion, if I do 3 +15s I should get to choose 1 reward from doing those 3 runs. Dont need to worry about 10 keys and what my lowest run is and all that because I am still just getting 1 item. Maybe if I do 15 +15s I could get 3 items or something.

Yes, this isn’t BfA so the mentality switch will slowly happen as more weeks go by. The system is working as intended, the devs are doing a very good job of listening to player feedback.

I was tearing this sytem a new one too but if you raid, do a mythic, and kill the weekly boss encounter - gear will build up.

I wish the vault paid off for more activates but it is what it is.

Mythic raiders won’t get 3 items per week for a full clear. Get real.
