Vault is just one more option to get a piece of loot. I think you are looking at it in the wrong way imo. No matter the case, the new system is so much better than previous.
gear still comes quick if you play the game.

We got one last expat too… this is giving us a chance to choose something beneficial to us instead of getting 1 random item across all content. It’s a much better system

If you were receiving more than that you’d be completely geared out in less than a few months without a question.
One item that you can choose a week that is more than likely an upgrade is 100% a good/better system than what we’ve had previously. 
Dude, it’s a strict improvement from BFA. Get over it.
View the vault as a saftey net. Do all the raid and mythics without getting a good upgrade or one in slot you wanted? You get an extra chance and it can be quite high ilvl.
Honestly I say screw it all and take us back to, past a certain ilvl, gear upgrades only dropping from raids. Bring us back to BC/WotLK days of progress and see how fast they like the NEW loot systems lol.
For some us, it’s ZERO PER WEEK.
And I’m not complaining about it either.
I think it’s fine. I’ve been playing a decent amount recently so I had a couple options to choose from, and it felt good being guaranteed a ilvl piece equal to the highest content I did that week.
If you do LFR, it’s still one per week. (My vault lit up in the Raid section after competing the LFR wing).
Why are people tossing fits about this now? We knew this was going to be the case.
Not exactly. If people gear up before the next patch, the forums will fill with “nothing to do blizz lolz garbage” posts.
They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. I am 100% fine with the guaranteed item at the end of the week.

3 items a week from the chest plus whatever gear you got from the content that earned those vault slots is way too much. Relax
I mean…honestly it’s a huge improvement over the old system…
I would rather have a ration of my choice rather than 4 anchovy pizzas (bracers) in a row.

This is literally how it’s always worked. Now we get to eliminate some bad RNG by unlocking multiple options.
Imagine if you could just fill 9 slots with high end gear in a week by doing everything.
