Allow all mounts to fly.
Even ground mounts that can fly with a simple explanation, because of magic.
There are so many mounts that are ground only, and for mount collectors, most of the cool ones from achievement awards are ground only.
FF14 does this, and I think it’s high time that WoW does it too.
FF14 has like 200 mounts, in WoW there are over 1000, personally I have 857 and only use like 10, making them all fly would be pointless.

Only way I’d be down for this is if they made it a “mount equipment” so that its optional.
Introduce an optional, harder leveling mode. Current leveling is too boring imo.
if FF14 jumped off a bridge, should wow jump too?
As long as my goblin trike can use Dragonflight
when ff14 gets a better combat system instead of that monstrosity, then we can copy it
Why? People don’t use the same 10 you do. So no, it’s not pointless.
That’s why mount equipment exists: make any ground mount fly, but it’s a choice.

No, but we have like 500 flying mounts, why do we need more?
Also 2 of my most used are ground mounts, and I have them as my most used because they are ground mounts and it makes more sense to use a ground mount in a ground mount only area, like in an instance.
It would make zero sense to have a mount like a raptor flying.
Because people may like their ground mount better than the 500 flying ones.
So again: you aren’t everyone.
This is a really weird hill to die on, since it wouldn’t affect you at all. Claiming is useless because you don’t use those ones is nonsensical at best.
Yet we have flying pigs, mice, moose, otters, etc.

It is a really weird hill to die on to try and justify having a ground mount that resembles an animal that lives on the ground and cannot fly just all of a sudden magically fly.
How so? 
Good job ignoring the moose, otters, pigs, mice, wolves, cats and horses that can fly. 
I’d be happy if they just allowed the red flying cloud mount to be remounted when underwater.
Though while I’m at it: why does the cloud under the disc kick up dust as a ground mount when all those other mounts with hooves and claws don’t?
That too. These haters of fun aren’t consistent.
I like the idea of implementing this feature through optional mount equipment, but then a lot of people use that slot for the comfortable blanket item, so you are immune to daze.
Perhaps a new slot can be introduced or a new flying training skill, maybe.
