I donât think itâs a bad idea, just have a questline where thereâs some Blue Dragon magic shenanigans- they accidentally enchant our mounts or something because of some novice thatâs learning.
And when we run, our mounts leave a trail in the air like the holiday reindeer does.
Better yet, let it be some kind of rare reward we can seek, and perhaps even customize the trail like how Rocket League does it, lol.
Let me agree with you there! Seriously why canât we Mount in Raids and instances??!! There are so many old Raids like Siege, ICC, and many more need to be changed to allow Mounts in Doors. It would just be a very nice QoL change to make make farming faster.
Oh you are talking about the special mounts, like the Chinese New year ones, the secret ones, the 500 mount otter, the literal unicorns, yeh those mounts that are special mounts that can do things other mounts cannot?
Even than you find a lot of people who hate the fact that things like a pig can just spawn wings and fly.
Some of the mount animations when they fly look so goofy in FF14, it looks parody.
The spinning turtle is a great example of this.

You know I only like my ground mounts because they canât fly. Sometimes I like to take my time traveling and actually see the world zone to zone getting to my destination.
While yes, I could just stay on the ground with it, but that sense of ground restriction isnât quite the same when itâs⊠well⊠not restricted.
Yeah, making a mammoth fly will make the game better, for sure
well they made every darn horse in the game fly except for the 2 or 3 I like to use, mainly my pvp war horse, wtf is up with that Bluzzard !
