Do 11s, 12s, 13s, and 14s. Why should someone take you to a 15 if your character hasn’t even done 11-14 yet?
People gear through pvp so…
Must say I am surprised.
I would have thought that maybe M0-2 would be equivalent to Normal raid.
TY for the info!
Some of the normal raid bosses are a bit more mechanically challenging vs previous x-packs.
In BFA you would have been correct
casuals can do M+ and get the valor system unlocked…With the WQ valor currency, this makes it so they can upgrade any good pieces they get without requiring M+ spam which is less casual freely.
I would consider +5 casual.
Try using +5 gear in pvp you will get wrecked.
I kind of wish more people would point this out, even though it may feel like saying the quiet part out loud.
This is the first expac where it was possible to get norm-raid level loot in WQ and single player content. Its even higher then LFR gear as long as you can keep upgrading the WQ stuff through the covenant system. Before this, people would have been expected to make hay with 184-ish stuff from M+0, and then try getting into Nathria. It was really good of them to make 197 stuff available easily.
I’m saying this as someone who’s still wearing 197 pvp shoulders, because I’m not convinced leather shoulders drop anyplace.
Its implied…to what degree that you need to group up is the only varying factor and wow has always been a high degree of group work. People stay longer in a game when they have personal connections to other people.
and i would get wrecked with dungeon gear in classic wow…its almost like the Dragonslayer will beat the squire in a duel.
Exactly. I’m not interested in mythic gear at all. I don’t do dungeons at all. However, I feel that I should be able to do something with all the valor I’m earning.
Hell, let us buy potions, mats, pets, recipes or exchange it for another currency.
Yes, but if youre playing your alts enough to do a +15, you have a +15key to make your own group and accept who you like.
Another issue is how many characters people play and consider “alts”. If you want to play 3 classes and keep them up to snuff with the current meta, go for it, but at what point do you consider that it’s not blizzards concern with how much time it takes to play 3 characters at max? The sweet spot has always been one main, one alt to work on in down time.
And the “git gud scrub” crew takes over the thread.
Then seperate us in PVP. Tired of getting stomped as Alliance because of gear disparity. I’ll wait an extra 10 minutes for a BG to que up. Horde can enjoy their 30 minute ques.
All it is is just a bandaid slapped on in usual blizzard fashion. They say they’re fixing a problem but in reality they create 10 more problems.
They brought valor in strictly for mythic plus gear only and yet allow callings to reward it. That doesnt help people who don’t have mythic plus gear or the achievement required for upgrading.
So in turn many of us will end up shoring up another useless currency that we can’t do anything with.
I already stopped doing callings because they were a poor replacement for emissaries. Now I have one more reason to avoid doing them since the valor does me no good.
a +5 is easily doable by casual players…that WQ granting valor lets the casual player collect valor without spamming mythic dungeons and able to upgrade their possible loot.
Not without the achievement. Either way it doesn’t matter anymore. I’ve already given up.
Effort is more than just difficulty. Time investment is a form of effort. The fact that you dismiss mundane tasks as a form of effort shows how shallow you think. Equal effort/time investment should equate to equal rewards. Successfully completing world quests for two hours equates to the same effort as wiping on a mythic boss for two hours learning the fight.
i wanna be the best driver in the world but i drive 2 hours a week in a 4 door automatic honda civic.
deal with it
No, it doesn’t. One task requires your full attention for two hours, the other can be done while watching a movie.
Curious about reaching 213 ilevel as a casual.
The BaF method of grinding residuum meant it was theoretically possible to reach high ilevels as a casual, just not likely.
Currently valor points seem to exist to mock players rather than reward them for the most part.
Without titanforging there is really just make work for casual players right now.
