Good evening,
I’ve just started to play wow again after +/- 7 years of inactivity and I started a trial account to see if I would like it again (which I did lol) so I subscribed monthly.
I used to have a WoW account with 3 expansions on it (BC, WoTLK and Cata) pre-Bnet and I would really like to merge with my actual Bnet account.
Is it possible ? I still have all my old account info + serial numbers of games + Authenticator but I’ve tried to open a ticket and I can’t make it work.
Please help me,
Thanks !
Assuming the accounts are under your same name, that shouldn’t be an issue. Do you recall if you already added that WoW license to a Battle.net account, Menthas? You mentioned the Cataclysm expansion, which was released after the new Battle.net account system was created in 2009, so wanted to ask.
If the WoW license is not currently on a Battle.net account it should be easy enough to have our staff merge it onto your current Battle.net account. If it is already on a Battle.net account that means we need to move a license from one Battle.net account to another. That comes with some restrictions so I wanted to get those out there.
Any Pets, Toys, Mounts, Appearances and Account Wide achievements/progress remains with the source account. This means if you are moving a license to a different Battle.net account it will lose any of those on that Battle.net account, but pick up any on the destination account. Depending what you have on each Battle.net account you’ll need to decide which one is more important to have as the destination (i.e. if you have more rare mounts/pets on your main Battle.net, etc…).
Here is some information on the process:
