Old quests that were removed/changed in Cata, that you cannot wait to revist

For me, that would be Tirion Fordring’s quest chain in eastern plaguelands. I also am looking forward to the old version of darrowshire questline.

That’s a simple one. The quest chain to unlock Onyxia. Assuming that’s valid for 1.12. For alliance it was the most epic quest they got, all over the world, dungeons, hard content. amazing.

The Legend of Stalven, it was an epic 20 part chain before it became a single quest in Cataclysm. And I heard this one a lot in guild chat back in the day, people where always talking about it, like the Alliances version of mankirks wife.

Silverpine Forest pre-Gilneas conflict/ Forsaken overhaul. I much prefer the “squatting in run down human buildings” Forsaken operating out of a Cemetery base to the events that played out in Cataclysm.

Silverpine being far less densely populated than the Barrens only added to the great atmosphere of the zone and its questing.

Any of the Class quests, particularly the Warlock ones for me. I’m also looking forward the original Duskwood questlines, Embalmer/Mor’Ladim/Stalvan.

That’s in addition to several already mentioned above like Onyxia, Fordring and Darroshire.

I always dodged plaguelands, maybe I’ll dig deeper there this time around.

I miss tirisfal glades and silverpine woods.

Without a doubt, the special Paladin weapon quest for Verigan’s Fist… what an awesome experience, especially since it has us visit Shadowfang Keep, not at all a typical dungeon for alliance players in a rarely visited zone for Alliance.

Gubber Blump’s fishing in Darkshore.

I had a good time visited the start zones and doing some simple tasks for people instead of saving the world.

The whole WPL quest chain with All Along the Watchtowers as the capstone. Loved that whole chain and cannot wait to revisit it. I’m looking at you Araj, killed me numerous times with a full group :slight_smile:
