Okay who broke sky riding?

So it’s not just me. I came back from a break and wasn’t sure if something changed or I managed to forget how it felt, because it feels wrong now.

It can seemingly trigger randomly midflight too for whatever reason. Everything is fine and then suddenly your character is attempting to level themselves out.

I think it is a bug and should be reported as such. No way this is intended or a feature.

Honestly, i did not noticed difference skyriding with soar and most of the mounts that have wings. The only mounts that feels a little weird are the mounts with no wings, specially the horses and cats.

Just enable static flight, works fine for me and that ludicrous energy bar thing is gone finally. Takes me 10 minutes to get to a dungeon but meh feels like the old days again :dracthyr_shrug:

I haven’t noticed any auto straightening but if you cross a zone border then it lags out pretty horribly.

I’ve noticed it autocorrecting too. Happens if you’re at like 10-20 degrees off horizontal and makes you straighten out. It will pop you out of Thrill of the Skies if you’re gliding around. Super annoying.

I have noticed this myself, and the only thing I can think of is, if you mount up in maybe water, or shallow water and have the mount equipment that allows you to walk over water. I kept consistently getting this in the Azure Span a few days ago.

I was under the impression that everyone held down their right mouse button while skyriding.

That would track. I’ve seen a few threads on “stopping the mounts from wobbling so much.”

This happens while holding down the right mouse button. The angle movement just isnt smooth.

i dont know what you’re talking about, when i skyride i pitch down under the horizon so im always at max speed and can afk for the few seconds

Are they talking about the camera follow? I turned that off because it broke with dragonriding and I never turned it back on.
