Ok, I've seen enough of kul'tiras and zanadalar, can i have flying now?

You are not prepared !!! For flying that is…

Yup.

Looks like I was right.

Legion was 7 months. BFA will be a full YEAR. I am more or less over all of it. Seriously..“we have learned from Legion”….no you havent.

That is part of the problem. I’m sitting here with empty quest log barely logging in to see if there are any of the must have WQ, WB or whatever, but not really playing much outside of that.

IF we already had flying, then I’d be leveling alts, professions, recipes, just general exploring all the interesting stuff I missed while slogging through ground mazes of constant aggro.

When they announced BfA at Blizzcon they said flying would be released the same way as in Legion.

No fly, no buy people all left I guess, now we’re stuck with late fly, endless cry.

It is definitely an issue. I’ve staved off the extreme boredom by leveling all of my 110s to 120 (have 5, 2 more to go) that way later on in the expansion I’m good to go.

The bottom line is there is just absolutely nothing worth logging into WoW for right now once you get the few things at 120 out of the way. Legion wasn’t great either at this point, but eventually turned into my favorite expansion so hopefully that is what happens with this one.

Flying is a major step in the right direction, so hopefully part 2 isn’t time gated to hell and back.

That is the way it feels now.
One used to get the feeling that they wanted you to have fun.
That’s gone.

The fun has been sucked out of the. Game

But now there's balance and raiding. That's all anyone ever wanted, right?

flying in stag form on the PTR during WoD was really, really fun.

there’s a lot you can’t see from the ground like all the detail in Nagrand.

most fun I had in game was getting flying in BC and traveling over that huge, beautiful world.

Honestly, both Pathfinder and buying flying with gold should be available. People with a little amount of gold could unlock Pathfinder, and those with a huge amount of gold could simply buy it. Of course, flying would cost a lot of money, not just 100,000 gold, given the effort that entails Pathfinder.

That’s just … weird.
Please, help me understand. You have gold and hit 120, and you’d rather wait 3 patches and then another grind for a month or so (speculative) than pay the gold and get flying?
Meh, I won’t judge <_<

In the end its really academic.

What we post isnt read…isnt looked at , in the case of flight they arent listening anyway. We said back in Legion we were sick of the timegate…so what happens?

Seven months waiting for fllght in Legion turns into a year waiting for flight in BFA.

If we get to fly at all.

Seven month benchmark is April 2019. Will we be flying by then?

Nope. My bet says a year…or longer.

Or never.

Nope not enough people have quit yet. But soon

Blizzard will release flight when they introduce more content that you cannot fly in. Enjoy the new underwater zone that people will probably hate as much as the one from cata.

Gimme playable Vulpera and flying in a patch and I’d be over-the-moon happy.

I like the idea of a one-time achievement that lets me earn flying for all my characters, current and future–especially since alts get to fly the moment they hit an expansion area (rather than having to wait until they’re ready to move on to the next expansion before they can “buy” flight for the one they’re leaving).

What I utterly despise about Pathfinder is the multi-parts and the inability to even work on the second part until some unknown future patch. Gating the achievement that way just annoys the players and creates unnecessary friction and irritation. I’m certain there would be far less hatred of Pathfinder if it were actually attainable from launch without having to wait for a patch.

We hear you, but chili fries are important.

They are not crying about Pathfinder part 1. They are asking why when we are so far into an expansion is flying not out yet.

Most folks have completed the zones and are working on end game or getting alts up. There is absolutely no reason at this point to hold back on flying.

The devs are being petty and spiteful once again. They act more like petulant children than adults.

It is time to allow flying and stop the delaying tactic of it’s coming next path.

For devs that are so opposed to flying, EVERY LAST ONE of the store mounts is a flying mount! There’s a two headed dragon, a pig and a fox with wings because that’s realistic. There are cats that fly because… well reasons. I’d imagine they’d sell better if they were fully usable upon purchase. But I suppose that would interfere with the time played metric.

I didn’t say we shouldn’t be able to fly already. I’m saying most people know how the system works and there is every indication it’s NOT going to change anytime soon. So continuing to cry about it is a waste of time.
