Its only 1 week. Players becoming zombies stops on 9/13. Next 2 weeks after this week is the Vanilla scourge event in a nutshell.

Whatever. One week is a week too long. Blizzard is making the game unplayable except via the tunnel they insist on pushing us through. They should refund our subscription price for the week.

There are a couple divisions here. One is around how much people enjoy poking other people, and Iā€™ll skip over that bc itā€™s complicated.

But thereā€™s also a pretty major divide:

  1. People who are bored with the existing content and view this as a fun diversion / new content.
  2. People who are already enthused with the existing content and view this as making the parts they enjoy inaccessible.

Itā€™s understandable thereā€™s going to be disagreement. Related to the 2nd is the group that has a list of things they want to accomplish before Wrath drops, and losing even a week for some is going to feel like a barrier rather than fun.

Just accept that some people are going to love this, and some are going to hate it, and neither pov is inherently ā€œright.ā€
