Yet I’m still posting on the forums. I’m forced to use Google Chrome and not Microsoft Edge to post on forums. What gives? Am I silenced on the forums or am I ban evading.
I think, from memory, the Customer Support forum is the only forum anyone with a silence/account action can post in.

If silenced on the forums, then can’t post in any forums, including CS/TS. In Game, not sure how it works in relation to the forums.

This where everyone is congregating who was suspended for talking politics ‘Language’ during the election even though they never used any foul, crass, or insulting language?
And is this a political forum or game? No? Keep politics out then?

To nip the seed in the bud: This forum, along with the other parts of the forums, isn’t a place to basically rant about your account actions.
If ya need help on how to apply, we can help with that. But it isnt for ranting or the like about it.

Trolling, spam, advertising, and generally causing disruptions in chat is cause for social penalties. Same goes for the forums. The game is about - world of warcraft, not whatever podcast or meme is popular that day.
Politics, religion, and quite a few other issues are inflammatory and using them to troll chat is a social violation - as in you used language to break the rules. Spam and advertising go under the same category.
Something does not have to be offensive to be inappropriate for the game.

This really isn’t a place to “congregate”. If you have an account action and need information on how to appeal, how long it will take, etc, then you are free to ask here or in a new thread.
But…
If you are here to complain about the account action, no, it’s not the place. There really isn’t any place to do that. Real-life politics are not a subject to be discussing in-game.
First off, as most of this was likely happening in LFG, that is not allowed. That channel is for people Looking For a Group, not to use it as a global chat channel.
Second off, I highly doubt that the conversation was, as you put it:
Language does not have to be “foul” or “insulting” to be against the rules, and I don’t think anyone here would ever believe it wasn’t insulting. The amount of trolling that I personally witnessed these last few days was quite disgusting.
The best we can give you is to leave a suggestion in General that they allow these conversation in-game, but you’re going to need a compelling reason beyond “I wanna do it and not get actioned for it”. It’s not likely going to change.

Political discussion often leads to toxicity, even if it doesn’t include “foul” language and isn’t allowed in most public chat channels. However it’s only acted upon if it’s reported. There are certainly other places to chat about Politics, best to leave it out of the game and these forums.

Technically speaking, if you were penalized in-game it should restrict your ability to post on the forums. That said, the forums take a while to catch up, so you may still be able to post for a time.
