Here’s something they could do. They could release RDF whenever ICC comes out as happened before, and make it just for leveling, not max level content. The issue here though, is that that would still promote mega servers because people would need higher realm pops to do content after leveling. So yeah, no matter how ya look at it, the original feature kinda was the best way to go about it all things considered.
Raids still require realm grouping, but A good majority of the player base isn’t hardcore anyway, so they were fine being on medium pop servers back in the day. The high pop servers were the ones that promoted raiding guilds for the most part. Which was fine, because the rest of the player base who wasn’t interested in any of that could use cross realm grouping for their leveling needs and basic heroic badge farming needs.
Its funny to me you assume I have a problem getting groups.
Its funny to me that you can’t understand what I am saying.
I am on a mega server.
I’m saying Dungeons don’t matter… removing RDF was a pointless thing to do… adding any type of extra reward BS that they are talkinga bout to heroics… won’t make a majority of us run dungeons again. Dungeons are boring and a waste of time… so glad that crap show is over… but I feel sorry for dead servers and people with limited time who couldn’t no-life heroic world tour like me.
All these threads about how they’ve burned through the content and claim they’re raid logging with nothing further to do make me wonder if they have any sort of life outside of the video game.
It’s really weird. I too have burned through it but I am not complaining, I knew exactly what I was doing. In fact I am at peace now that I can raid log and maybe even level my alt for fun.
/shrug after I get off work. Leveling is extremely easy if you have game knowledge. Takes about 2-3 hours per level. So I guess 25-30 hours total for all three level 80s? Six to eight nights of leveling over the last fifteen days?
