Ogres for Allied race

It’s time. Ogres for Allied race to Horde, let’s face it the ogres already exist as part of the Horde, but similar to the dark iron its never been made official.

Though I wonder how the quest line to get ogres into the Horde will go? Convince an ogre to capture a gnome and cook it maybe? They might find that fun.

They’re already part of the Horde. That was never the problem. The problem is even the smallest ogre is still twice as big as me, the largest playable race.

Create an auto-crawl feature for them when they approach doors. It will be a bit of programming work but it can be done.

Allied races are for those who already share a Skeleton with a core race.

Make ogres a new core race pleaee.

I think ogre is good idea, it should happen for horde.

customization options for 1 or 2 heads would be cool

Two heads should only be for Shamans, Mages and Warlocks.

It still baffles me how the horde got not one, but TWO elven races before we got ogres.

That’s not true.

Go use the Kovork Costume with Elixir of Giant Growth. You’ll stand a head over Tauren, and be taller than most Ogre NPCs on Azeroth. You’ll be around the size as Ogres in Frostfire Ridge, and smaller than a chunk of some of the WoD Nagrand Ogre NPCs.

There aren’t any pathing issues in Orgrimmar on foot. To create helm clipping issues, you’d have to transmog into one of the extreme helms, hypothetically (ie, Scourgelord’s or Lei Shen’s crown).

As far as mounted pathing issues go, Ogres can fit into most Orgrimmar doorways mounted on a standard mount (I tested with the Vicious PvP Wolf). It’s only on obnoxiously large mounts that mounted pathing issues appear in doorways. Basically the exact same boat the Tauren are in now.

The idea that “Ogres are too big” has always been a dumb talking point used by dumb people. Please stop, you have no clue what you’re talking about.

Ogres deserve their own skeletal rig; however, not all allied races share skeletons. The Kul Tiran rig is unique, for example.

I’d rather have Mok’nathal but they kind of ruined that with giving us Mag’har instead. :frowning: I still want Ogres but they will have to be as big as Taurens or slightly bigger. I can’t get the damn Undercity Bat into doorways and it gets stuck under awnings so I see the same problem if they give us a huge race. And if we get Ogre then I think Alliance should get the Vrykul they are always talking about. Both huge races so can share same rig.

I misread “ogres” as “orgies”. Either way, I am very much in favor.

There’s no reason to be nasty. I want ogres and I have always wanted ogres. I have stood next to ogres on my tauren and they’re way bigger than me. That’s what I was basing my post on.

How does an “orgies” Allied race work? Are you thinking more or less elves and succubus’ from Illidan’s sex room?

Not a fan unless they have cool tattoos like in highmaul second to last boss O.o. And can be rogues like Dugg

Dagg? Yeah he’s the best Rogue on Draenor.

p.s. Two race/class combos I want really bad and would purchase a race change so fast my credit card would catch on fire is a Wildhammer Druid and two-headed Ogre Warlock.

Yup. I would switch my blood elf to ogre for that lol or Eredar.
