Ogre race?

Major edit…

Did or didn’t the Ogres enslave Orcs?

The animated videos, like the story behind Grom and Kargath even explained it that way.

It was always Ogres doing bad bad to Orcs. They was always at war with each other.

Someone doesn’t know Horde history very well. There are already ogres in the Horde. Brackenwall Village in Duskwallow Marsh.

Wait yo ogres have been a part of just about every Horde iteration. If I’m not mistaken, the entire Stonemaul Clan is still part of the modern day Horde.

That being said, playable Ogres would be a awesome AR imo, imagine if you could have two heads and they’d randomly argue with each other.

I would love to be able to play as a half ogre like Rexxar.

Go to educate yourself and wash your mouth or get out of my horde

With factions looking to merge
horde vs alliance race won’t be a thing

Pretty sure he’s referring to all the instances of the iron horde being enlslaved by the ogres.

I’m just gonna assume OP isn’t serious.

Bounced on my boi’s Ogre for hours until it joined the Horde.

Soooo

Grom wasn’t captured and tortured by an Orge?
And Kargath wasn’t enslaved by an Ogre and forced to fight in a pit?

There are different clans of Ogres that have done different things. Some of them have enslaved or attacked the Horde while others joined the Horde. They are not completely unified as a race.

As it stands right now, the Stonemaul Clan (who has some history with the Horde since Warcraft 3), the Dunemaul Clan (who were “recruited” by Megs Dreadshredder), and some Gorian Ogres from AU Draenor (who came with the Mag’har) are part of the Horde already.

There are good and bad Ogres, much like any race, but there are some that are part of the Horde. I, for one, am hoping they become a playable Horde race, someday.
