Druid is 20, got my cat form, and now I’m just plowing through mobs. This is pretty sweet so far
Died helping a hunter in Wetlands. I was Pally 37.
Played 5d11h30m59s
Well I died again at lvl 20 doing the water totem quest. Was in Silverpine Forest going to Tarren Mill. Went to pick an herb and somehow aggro’d 5 Dalaran casters. But my shaman after that got to 60. Currently working on a lvl 30 warrior.
Still haven’t died yet.
Currently have 2 level 40’s (mage and pally)
And then every other class is at 20-25.
My goal is get each class to 60, luckily I haven’t died yet but I think it’s because I tend to be overly cautious.
How does a level 37 die in wetlands?
When there are 10 mobs pounding on you and I got complacent.
Were you helping the hunter with the elite quests?
Just died yesterday, 21 dwarf warrior in Redridge. A hamstrung basher limped a little too close to a camp in the back (still surprised by that aggro range) and had 5 gnoll’s on me.
I would go agane but my friends are waaay too ahead of me (was questing to catch up, lol) and work takes up all of my time right now >.<
Three times so far. All of them due to hyper-spawns. They need to tone down the respawning several magnitudes and change it to 5-7 seconds. Not 20-50 milliseconds.
Rogue 1 was a meme and died intentionally. (level 2?)
Hunter got caught out in the wendigo cave. (level 8)
Mage 1 died in red ridge trying to save a rogue from orcs. He vanished after I novad them and they were trappers so I got chain trapped (level 18)
Mage 2 died because I thought I could take 2 defias casters instead of leasing the second one. I died by 0.2 seconds (level 16)
Rogue 2 died in fargodeep mine due to respawns (Level 6)
Priest died when I tabbed over to answer a discord notification while sitting on the top of a hill I thought was safe and kharanos wolves have dumb aggro radius (Level 9)
On Mage 3 right now, about to hit level 12.
I am currently leveling my first HC toon, I am level 41 and still amongst the living.
Level 12 Priest, Skull Rock nuff said (helping warlock with vw quest and got gazzuz’d)
Level 3 Priest, Spider Cave in Deathknell
Level 8 Priest, Tirisfal Glades, hounds aggro radius big
Level 16 Shaman, Samophlange hyper spawn
Level 9 Shaman, Durotar, can’t really remember but just something dumb I did.
Currently alive on a level 30 Rogue.
Half way to home base, you’ve got this!
surprisingly no. only lvl 17 but usually by now i am dead. think what helps is that i can buy a wand now but if i was doing SSF like before live servers then yea i’d likely be dead as a priest at this point.
actually almost died this morning pulling a pack of 5 mobs. killed 1 before running away everything was on CD and mana was low already.
i think im going to die around 18-20 though just made my way to redridge doing the quests probably will get greedy at some point and die. doesn’t matter to much to me im kind of over this priest and waiting for my friend to catch up but he’s a hunter so kind of expect him to catch up fast. likely will roll a mage or warrior after this idk yet.
I just lost a 52 Warlock. I spent half an hour trying to form a group for the Pawn Captures Queen quest in Un’Goro Crater. Against my gut, I decided to try and do it solo. I got to the chamber and cleared it out. Right when I was about to start the event a rare spawned. It kept crapping out eggs faster than I could kill them, so I ran. Unfortunately everything in the cave respawned by then. I blew all my cooldowns and potions and managed to escape the area barely alive.
I buffed up and tried again despite telling myself not to do it. I got to the chamber and cleared it out. I started the event and cleared the first wave with no issue. If you fight in the tunnel leading to the chamber, you can pull the rest of the waves when you are ready. I started the second wave and got 2 of the 3 down, but when I started to kill the last mob, everything in the chamber and tunnel started to respawn. I was too low on mana and decided to run again. I blew all of my cooldowns and potions but ultimately died more than 100 yards outside the cave entrance.
About a minute after dying, someone in LFG was advertising to do Pawn Captures Queen. What a perfect topping for the idiot cake I made.
I have a 50 Rogue I can fall back onto. However, I’m not sure if I want to even try. I am already getting bored of Hardcore. So many zones feel dead when you get to around level 45. With Season of Discovery releasing at the end of the month, it feels like there is even less reason to continue.
I remember all my deaths xD
Lvl human 9 warrior to Kobold (on bb) - It was during lunar festival and I spent so long running around getting one of those fancy dresses I was planning to level her up with. Right as i get back to Elwnn forest I find rare kobold in a cave and try to solo him + buddy and die.
42 elf priest to pirates (on bb) - Was like 2:30 am on a Saturday night and I was grinding away the last few gold I needed to buy a mount. I had recently respec to shadow from disc so I wasn’t really used to it. Died trying to kill multiple pirate casters on the beach while arguing in guild about how awesome starshards was.
19 human rogue to a dwarf in the darkshore cave (on bb) - Was killing those random NPCs at the bottom of the mushroom cave because questie said they could drop something that would give me a quest. parry, parry, parry my gouge, and the dwarf with the 2 handed hammer smacked me to death. Two gnome mages watched me die and did nothing to help (though i don’t blame them, these are the days of ssf - i shouldn’t have been doing those pulls).
18 gnome rogue to murlocks (day 2 of official) - Woke up ready to to pump and level up my rogue, died to murlock poison on westfall beach while waiting for my coffee to brew. New rule: never do anything dangerous in HC in morning before coffee.
Most recently I leveled a cow hunter to 60 for the sfmg tournament
I had a very dumb death.
Finished up a cool, clean, crisp run in SM library at 37
Instead of hearthing out, I went to go back to the entrance to turn in my quests at UC
Forgot about trash respawning so quickly in old dungeons
Otherwise everything is going great
this actually makes me feel better and want to continue hardcore. I would get frustrated getting close to 20 then dying because of over aggro or mass respawns.
3 warlocks, all dead in their teens.
I made it to 37 on my first ever hardcore character. Pulled a group I didn’t see or knew was there. I then started over and died again at 14 to something stupid I did. Took a month off playing Hardcore, and now I am back at it again. I’m back to level 14, and hoping to now make it past 37 is my current goal
Man I suck at this. I’ve died 7 times now and my highest was only level 18
