I’m taking my time with this new mage, and he’s currently sitting at level 24 
I’m in no rush, and I log off at the slightest sight of lag

I died at level 12 as a druid in darkshore. Chased a plainstrider and pulled a bear and a kitty kat. 
Lesson learned… don’t chase things down 
Now i’m level 11 again
Don’t be greedy like me ya’ll.
I’m going agane, but my heart isn’t in it as much.

Died on a level 26 in a Kobold cave due to hyper spawns, though I believe I posted that in this thread a couple weeks ago or so. Hit 60 on my next character earlier today.

35, still alive!
Saved a fellow mage from the detention facility in Hillsbrad the other night. He was getting chased and I was able to help my quest progress along and save him at a sliver of health. Was a win/win and we helped each other complete our quests. He was very grateful. Questing through STV currently, which is my favorite zone. Just chilling and enjoying myself. Probably gonna transfer some gold and low level mail to a warrior alt. Also gonna make a druid at some point but making a tank on HC sounds like recipe for frustration.

Shaman died at 46. Doing the elite quests in the hinterlands. Tank has to go and hearths out. Others keep pulling. I heal and get healing aggro. I kite but die. My spirit is crushed right now

Lvl 10 orc warrior died.
I have a new orc warrior lvl 10
Also have human warrior 14
I keep 2 warriors at all time so when 1 die i can play the other

Rules of HC for survival… avoid murlocs…they swarm you with a full on Zerg rush attack. And second rule…avoid caves. Ive broken both of those rules and have paid the price for doing so.

Wow being nice to random peoples is so hard for you that you actually made a type the first time you gave it a try. I made a mage cuz I heard they were easy mode…but I kept dying at it. So do what you know best how to do, not what some YT guide says to do. They say never level as holy pally in HC, only ever go ret… I have 2 60 rets from original Classic. Now in HC, I made Holy. Holy spec was so much more easy. Dont ever trust a guide, ever…trust yourself.
I thought rogue and warlock were your strengths. Only had 2 toons US server in OG Vanilla. Warrior, warlock same server. On EU account I no longer have and under my birth name, I had sham and pally, diff servers. So 4 toons total original WoW.
I have died twice from hyperspawns
Almost 3 times now, but i used a swiftness potion and didnt get dazed when strifing this time.
There’s a trick to this. You have to jump and turn while strafing so you’re facing the mob when it swings and then back.
It takes a while to get time timing down, and a swing timer helps a lot.

Oh, i do that. But when you had 4 mobs hyperspawn on you while you fought 2… well its hard to not get dazed getting hit from 6 mobs… especially when they are 2 1 hander mobs that hit twice every 1.5 seconds.
That was my second death, and i had a shaman with me, didn’t put his slow totem down (until after i was dead) or even try to heal me when i intentionally got aggro off him (he was 2 levels lower than me so they went for him first, i spammed wing clip on everything and used detterance). But it is what it is. He lived.

16 characters, 1 on each class horde and alliance…
1 Alliance Warlock death at level 10.
My top character is a level 55 Dwarf Priest still going strong.

my first death occurred on my level 16 warrior. i was cruising along and got cocky. my level 21 hunter, level 18 priest, and level 18 rogue will forge ahead. i’m starting duskwood so it feels like things are about to get real.
I took a tolerance break and went to BG3 
I’ll be back grinding again soon

Died in Duskwood, level 28, due to nearby Huntard who’s pet pulled 5-6 worgen, then runs past me and Feign’s Death while I was in combat.
Total roach.
Msg’d him after… no apologies … didnt even care.
Stay away from lv30+ Hunters. Just not worth the risk.
