This isn’t OP in the slightest. With the way their mastery works, it scales off of higher HP targets, and tapers off, very similarly to Condemn for Warriors. The easiest part of any fight is the opener to begin with, so I’m not sure where you’re getting “it’s op” from, but their Masteries are not very good to begin with. Also, we haven’t seen the sims yet either to see how it compares to throughput, and even if it does contribute more to throughput than other races, they can only be one class, and they may rely on Mastery scaling more than other classes, which may come across as bloated, but could very easily be scaled around it, so I don’t really understand this argument, as it doesn’t really make sense to begin with.
And? This just allows them to track nodes from further away - if you think this is OP, wait until I tell you about the gathering addons that leave node markers on the map from when you gather, factoring that in with Druid Flight Form or the Engineering Skyshredder. Again, will have really no impact on the game - and only serves to help the low-end casual farmers.
Once again, and? This likely won’t stack with the Guild Passive you get - and even if it does, this pales in comparison to Dragon Riding, and on top of that, they have a neutered version of Dragon Riding to begin with. The only way you can deem this as OP is if people actually World PvP’d commonly in the open world and it was competitive, which it isn’t. So once again, not really understanding why this is brought up when this literally only serves to travel faster throughout the world, on top of all that, why is this deemed OP, but Vulpera’s being able to place a Hearthstone literally anywhere isn’t? How about Mages being able to teleport virtually anywhere? Where is the line you draw.
I don’t think you fully understand how small 6 yards actually is. In super coordinated groups, yeah, it can help, but comparing this to the likes of Pandaren sleep, War Stomp, etc. this is pretty abysmally small. It really doesn’t provide much combat benefit, considering you are typically casting from anywhere from 20-30 yds away, and if you have to use it, the odds are you’re not getting really any value out of it to begin with, there is much more impactful CC in the game that isn’t that racial.
Not to mention, Demon Hunters move WAY faster than Dracthyr, and it isn’t even close. They move almost as fast as a mount, if not faster with proper usage of their glide. Dracthyr doesn’t have a double jump, DHs do. So once again, not really understanding why this is being brought up.
