So please, both of you explain and reason with me as to how and why Dracthyr racials are OP. If you want to make a claim, then support it and try to change my mind.

Ok. From the other discussion on the topic:

How are the Drakthy racial abilities OP you ask…

To start…they have the standard flat stat buff.

1. Increases your mastery by 2.5% (Devastation spec) / 1.8% (Preservation spec). (Note: 2.5% will be the highest single stat buff in the game.)

Then a standard utility ability:

1. Increases your Perception by 50. Perception increases the radius of tracking Mining and Herbalism nodes, and the chance of finding additional rare materials when gathering. (It’s hard to say how strong this ability is)

And then a standard flavor ability:

1. You fly 20% faster on continents that you have fully explored. (That’s a really strong flavor ability)

After that they get 2 strong AOE combat knockbacks with pretty short (1.5 minute) cooldowns: (For reference, the similar single target Kul Tiran ability has a 2.5-minute cooldown)

1. Lash our with your tail, knocking enemies within 6 yds into the air. 1.5 min cooldown.
2. With a powerful flap of your wings, knock away enemies in front of you. 1.5 min cooldown

But if that wasn’t enough…they also get the racial ability to glide

1. Reduces your falling speed. You can activate this ability with the jump key while falling.

And of course on top of all of that, they get Soar.

There is no way to argue in good faith that they do not have an OP lineup of racial abilities that far surpasses any other race.
