I don’t know about you, but some of the best devs I’ve ever known were horrible at talking to people.
Add that to an antagonistic customer base and you could see why he personally doesn’t talk to us here. No one can compromise so he could make an objectively great game and he’d still get customers hell bent on seeing SoD fail because they just want xyz instead.
That being said it’s on Blizzard to hire the proper people to deal with this freak show.
if he’s such a delicate flower he wouldn’t be posting on twitter either

The whining doesn’t matter to them if u keep paying, the devs will keep doing their job (which is not talk to the ppl btw) and we’ll keep playing whatever it comes.
People seem to forget SoD is experimental and as such are given almost no resources.
Hot take: everyone who whines about being a paying customer should shut the hell up as they barely make money off you. Inflation wise

Hot take, but wow still being a subscription based game was a bad an outdated concept when it came out. 15$ a month and still having to pay for every expansion and have micro transactions on top of it is absurd, most mmos have only one of these 3 while wow implements all 3 subscription/paid expansions and micro transactions on top of it.
On average you pay almost 200$ a year on average thats a price of 4 new triple aaa games. The value is just not there.
I pay my sub with gold so idc, but saying that they should charge more then 15$ a month for a game with no serious dev team, zero support team and a constant failure to uphold integrity stipulated by the EULA is just a a bad joke.
There are so many “YES” men and white knights over on X on his threads. It’s disgusting to read some of the comments. I can hear the slurping from here.

Phase 3 is now 9 weeks old and it only had 3-4 weeks of content. Now it will go on for another 4+ weeks? SoD is dead and Blizzard killed it.

The biggest mistake in classic that still exists today is alliance having the subpar smug paladin class instead of the true wielders of the light, the humble likeable prom king/queen cleric class.
If you continue to gate runes behind trash incursions I will be moving on from wow.
