Here are my thoughts on the matter .
Background - from Sydney with wifi fibre acct.
Playing on BC oceanic pve server - 3ms.
Playing on BC US west pve server - 144ms.
If there is no Wotlk Oceanic pve server I’m assuming speed will be 144ms. I’m not to happy due to the reaction times, but will have to adapt. I do remember when Classic first arrived 18yrs+ ago Oceanic players had to deal with 400ms+ . I’d prefer to relive Wotlk again then miss out on a fresh start.
Only having 1 pve server for US means there is less chance Wotlk pve will die a slow death of losing players lateron
I don’t care really, I’m just saying I doubt they will give us 1 and honestly it will die and there is no point in sooking. US west coast will be fine if you want fresh otherwise there is 3 progressive servers if you care so much about 0.15s of lag.
The worse that could happen is blizzard drags their heels on a dead server and players that were expecting the game to be playable that would have otherwise contributed to the player pool will instead quit.
OCE just doesn’t have the numbers to sustain itself beyond a few servers. They can’t populate their own battlegroup, they can’t populate SoM spin off servers, they won’t be able to populate a fresh server.
So anyway, your plan is to come onto the forums and counter everyone’s opinion despite it not affecting you in any way whatsoever. What a neat existence you have.
I agree with this which is why my suggestion resolves the issue it allows multiple servers linked crossrealm so bg/dungeons/arena are combined for oceanic problem solved
Please spin us all a wonderful yarn as to how a fresh server is going to dramatically change things for you, I’ll get the campfire and smores going because this should be an absolute thriller to hear.
Well they already are with battlegroups and it didn’t solve the problem, the influx of players might help for 2 months then you’ll be lucky to get a wsg at 10pm going.
