Gotchaaaa, glad you agree the people who want an oce fresh are relevant. Enjoy US servers.
They can think they’re relevant and I could yet be proven wrong. My point is I doubt blizzard will cater this time and if they don’t as I suspect they won’t I’d like to put into perspective that 0.15s of lag isnt detrimental. Also conversely the economy on progressive servers won’t hinder your experience much if 150ms is a deal breaker. Fresh will end up a GDKP, RMT, Botting cesspool within a few months anyways.
I’m Sydney, yes the ms will be slower, but I aint going to miss out on a fresh start Wotlk. I’ll be making sure to get enough sleep before launch so I can stay awake for 24hrs+ on the first day. Like to get ahead of most of the lvling group to get to lvl 55 quickly to get a Death Knight

Yeah 150ms isn’t really an issue, I’d take that for a longterm healthy server over a shot in the dark at a yet to exist OCE server that will likely die anyways, I’ve been shot in the foot with this OCE crap a few times already and it kills the vibe.

Thats why Blizzard is hoping with only 1 Wotlk US pve the server will stay alive. Hoping the AH stays healthy also
They’ve announced a pvp and pve server now. So 2 total to pick from, hopefully atleast 1 is US west.

Look, great point, but I’m just a bit confused as to where anyone actually asked?
Gold inflation only really seems to have affected GDKPs most AH items are either normal or really cheap.
I don’t understand why you’re all so concerned with the server eventually dying.
If it does, just transfer your character - or, merge the pops. Wow, problem solved.
You’re all acting like making ONE fresh OCE server will cripple Blizzard, break the game, and ruin the region.
Do you all legitimately believe this, or are you just in the mood to cry about things that don’t actually impact you. I honestly feel like they should make one just to watch the bloke spamming the thread cry into his body pillow.

It doesn’t matter, and neither does the other option of just sucking it up and going US fresh or progressive servers and stop sooking for daddy bobby to throw you a bone because 0.15s lag is going to break the game for you.
Since when has Aust/Oce turned into a bunch of begging whiners.
I’m just glad we are able to play on a fresh Wotlk , but would prefer a Oceanic fresh Wotlk at 3ms

Even if I agreed that 150ms doesn’t matter, you realize 150ms is a best case scenario right? It’s going to be closer to 300 for some.
If the servers are US west based and you live on the AU east coast with decent net, you might get something like that 150, sure.
We’re begging whiners for being upset that we miss out on something US and EU players get? Why?
