So, as the title says, I am curious if Blizz will once again hand out a 68 boost and a mount so we can join our friends in Northrend.

I wouldn’t be surprised tbh. I would rather have the option to spend cash on a deluxe edition that I don’t have to purchase over having them place a price tag on access to the Wotlk servers.
If they can monetize it, then I am sure Blizz will do it.

It’s very likely we’ll get another boost. Their original intention - at least at face value - is still there, with letting players jump right into the expansion.
They never handed out a 68 boost, but yes, I’m sure they will with wrath. This one will include the crusade races as well.
I do wonder though if it will be 68 or 58… keeping the boost at 58 makes sense to give all the DK players people to do dungeons/quests with.

It’ll be 68, and $10 more, but I could see them allowing a second (or more) 58 boost per account without the race restrictions.
At least 2 boosted characters, except you can’t boost the death knight
Where’s the fun in that? Let them use the, now unrestricted, 58 boost on DKs!

At the very least you’ll get a 55 boost for your DK.
Ofc it’s going to happen.
I just hope they are gonna keep the 1 time per account restriction.
Especially in Wrath where the whole leveling experience is different because of LFD, Heirlooms, XP from BGs…
Id say about a 99% chance we get a 68 boost option yes
