https://simulationcraft.org/reports/TWW1_Raid.html if you go to the mm breakdown you can see that the sim only spends 25% of the 5 minutes casting aimed shot. So 75% of the time you can move freely as mm and you are trying to argue it isn’t mobile???

Sucks that BM gets nerfed, but its probably a band-aid fix until they finally decide what to do with PI. I haven’t played it in a while cause the reliance on the dire beast mechanic just made it really annoying for me.

Is BM suddenly the lowest damage spec in the entire game?
If so, is it significantly lower than its neighbor?
Is it impossible to clear content with it?
If the answer to any of those are no, I don’t think its gutted. Like I said, it sucks that it got nerfed, POSSIBLY in relation to another classes skill. But if the expansion cycles are anything to go by, BM is usually one of the best specs towards the end of an expansion.
Im not gonna hop on the doom train every single time BM doesn’t get a purely positive patch. After being here for so long, I really doubt this one is any worse than many of the past nerfs and things ended up fine.
I am more annoyed with the direction the spec has gone thematically (I mentioned above I don’t like the current dire beast mechanic, I much prefer that we got the pvp versions of dire beasts hawk/basilisk for example) than this specific patch.
at 610ilvl, i get turned down for open world content lol. hunter life.
im going to continue to play, and do stuff as i would and one day ill be the only hunter in content and people will point and laugh and ill just be like… at least my pets look cool.

I invested a bunch of sparks and tokens into bm - thanks Blizzard - BM has been the laughing stock of the past two expansions being completely underwelming - I thought there was some momentum with our single target damage in raid but then they go and do this.

It quite literally goes to a bottom tier ST spec while simultaneously having the worst AOE damage in the game. If that’s not gutting a spec I don’t know what is. And yes it is almost impossible to clear M+ content as BM in any pugging formats. So again, I ask you what constitutes gutting a spec if this does not?

Still disheartened by this. A blue response would be great. The math on how bad this puts us is very easy to do its also very easy to see where we are with and without PI and how low this puts on both ST and AoE. Really hoping to hear something before they push this change and make us all play mm/surv.

Let’s not lie about things now.
Really hoping Blizzard will give us some kind of response or revert these changes. My guild is still working towards AotC and feels really bad that come Tuesday I could be doing significantly less damage to help with our progression. Drastic nerfs like this shouldn’t be happening mid-tier.

It seems we are being moved to boss killer without the damage spikes that arcane gets for the same role.
BM still owns as a quest class, but I feel guilty about my DPS in group content.
