You’ve gutted the entire oceanic region and completely destroyed shadowstrike as a server and after all of this you’ve repeated the same mistake a second time you still come to the oceanic playerbase with no solution or care whatsoever.
We’ve asked you in season of mastery to make only one oceanic server going forward you did not listen we’ve asked for you to invest time and resources to prevent this happening again you did not listen.
People are paying for a service and in 2024 forcing an entire region onto NA ping as a solution is disgraceful from a multi billion dollar company. You’ve managed to split the community and force many to quit the game entirely and it is extremely disappointing after being a player for so long that you continue to treat our region like this.
I am asking the developers one last time for them to provide a better solution to our playerbase and invest the time and resources needed to come up with an acceptable solution not just for sod but for the future of oceanic gaming as well.
Please take note of the following suggestions
1.Look at a way to crossrealm / sharding / seeded instances / layering or any other workable and realistic solution that you can come up with for our region the main goal is to obtain oceanic pings within raids/dungeons and when we play with other oce players the world ping is tolerable if instances can be done.
2.Please next time you release another iteration of classic wow have one pvp server and that’s it if people wish to play pve let them play on NA. The oceanic playerbase isn’t large enough to support 2 servers long term and the pvp server is always the largest and last to go.
3.Reconsider the GDKP ban for shadowstrike and allow all players from any server to have a one way transfer to shadowstrike if they wish to gdkp keep the server isolated from others if this is done so there is no impact on anyone outside of those who choose to play here. The server is already empty except a handful of people in my guild please do something with this server that provides any kind of incentive to return and play here.
4.In future make it clear that the one oceanic server you make will not have transfers open under any circumstance so if players decide to play on oceanic from the beginning they do not have any option to leave and they are committed to our region for the lifespan of the game.
5.If you aren’t able to provide any further solutions and you refuse to invest any time and resources to help oceanic players have a optimal and enjoyable game experience then as a last resort i request you keep the two way transfers open so we can continue to play on shadowstrike but have access to crusaderstrikes auction house when needed.
This will also allow guilds to setup raids on shadowstrike if they wish to do runs on oce ping with no penalty of transfering back and forth while it is not an optimal solution it serves as a temporary bandaid fix until you are either able to provide a better alternative or for the remaining duration of sod’s lifespan.
Lastly i will say that i am still on shadowstrike i have no intention of leaving shadowstrike and after i finish ranking if there still isn’t a better solution or at least a message informing the oceanic region that you are in the process of finding a better alternative i won’t have any choice but to quit the game as i did in season of mastery as you’ve destroyed my region , my server and my guild and left me with nothing on shadowstrike.
High time you stopped speaking like you represent the oceanic player-base or our consensus opinion in any way whatsoever; you don’t, and literally all of us are laughing at you.
Blizzard, don’t take this flop seriously for even a moment. We don’t.
Could it have anything to do with the fact that you notoriously try to harass and report spam anyone who dissents from your braindead opinions, which is literally everyone at this point?
God knows why you continue to whine like an absolute clown in public forums. No one is on your side of the fence and the entire community openly mocks you whenever your name is mentioned.
Imagine being so socially inept that you turn yourself into a running joke in a novelty server from a 20-year-old game.
Mate you’ve got nothing. You consistently pop up to cry about literally everything and anything while pathetically masquerading a some kind of ambassador for the oceanic player-base.
People reply to you on alts because you actively try to harass people on their mains, obviously. Anyone with half a brain grasps the logic in that which is probably why don’t. Sucks that you don’t have anyone to target in this case but you’ll get over it.
You care so much about your imagined relevance in what has to be the most irrelevant environment imaginable. Again, literally no one takes anything you say seriously and you’re a literal joke within the community.
The fact you somehow haven’t clocked that after consistent feedback from the community is crazy. Truly smoothbrained behaviour.
Shadowstrike was already gutted, I’m an oceanic player used to play there and outside of guild content the game was dead. Leveling zones dead. That was a player made issue, after p1 people just left and never came back.
Moved to Wild Growth and it’s been the best decision ever, latency went up abit but it’s actually not noticeable and the best thing is if I make an alt it’s really easy to find leveling dungeon groups from level 15-60.
I don’t think anyone would argue that having a bigger population / more players is a bad thing the entire issue here is that after 20 years of wow they should have some kind of system in place that can deliver a optimal gameplay experience for both oceanic and na.
Which is the entire point of the suggestions in my original post if we could somehow be connected with crusader strike or even just have access to oceanic ping in instances with other oceanic players 99% of the problems are resolved and it would be amazing.
The issue isn’t “it’s not possible” the issue here is “we haven’t invested any time or resources” into providing you with a better experience and that is the fundemental issue here and the thing that i am so against.
Oceanic players should be able to play on our own ping or server and not be handicapped on NA ping nobody ever said its unplayable or you can’t raid on it we did it before oceanic servers existed its just not “fun” or “optimal” and we shouldn’t accept this as a solution everytime a new version of wow is released.
