This forum is like the 4th bedroom of a house. It is used for unsorted laundry. They won’t come in here until they need a new shirt.

I need some sleep… I am speaking sh1t.

I have to agree, it’s pretty much unplayable.

Cael-Nagrand-Saur Oribos and Ardenweald have been virtually unplayable all today. Crafted item took 3 mins (timed by chat time stamps) to appear after getting the skill point in O. Several disconnects in Arden, plus fishing in slow motion. Not acceptable.

This is hot garbage, the lag and also any random group content which may link us with US basically causes us to DC. was going to dungeon spam and finish the PvP weekly before reset but looks like that’s not happening now… Ive tweeted at Blizzard CS with all these links…

Yeah cos it helped SO much last time they asked for it. Its all just platitudes to distract from the fact that they aren’t doing anything except wait for people to stop playing.

So doing nothing is better?

Seem’s to work for Bliz.

But yeah, I get your point.

We can atleast try to pretend to ourselves that the recent sub price might mean that OCE may get a little bit of a look in.

I can now with confidence state that I am having less lag on a 200+ms US server then on my 50ms OCE server.
Can we please get someone to look into this, or at least get some feedback if someone is already looking into it. It is really frustrating.

I must agree. This is totally unacceptable Blizzard. You put up our subscription fees and then continue to do nothing about sub par server performance. I have been trying to quest in Maldraxxus and the lag is the worst I have experienced in nearly 14 years. Honestly, how can your game performance go backwards?

It’s really, really bad. It’s been basically unplayable for my wife and me for the last few days. It’s actually not been too bad outside of peak, but during the hours most people would be able to play for a decent amount of time, it’s impossible to do anything. Even logging out in rest areas is lagging! Hopefully, this gets seen to quickly because it’s actually game-breaking and I don’t throw around that term lightly.

Yeah, that is bizarre. How does something like even happen? I can understand US players lagging on oce and vice versa, but for us to lag on oce with 25-50 ms averages is just boggling.

Could it be possible that when our packets actually reach US soil they are on better infrastructure than what they are while being routed around Australia? The path between US and AU networks might be OK so there is less packet loss than the data bouncing around on aging and redundant AU copper and poorly installed fiber then heading towards budget IaaS servers hosted in Australia?

It wouldn’t surprise me if the AU infrastructure Blizzard use was leased off of DoDo internet which share the lines with 10 other providers so even at 3am you have congestion.

yes, i thought the maintenance would fix it on tuesday, but no. still lags like hell.

DoDo internet? lmao I have no idea. Your guess is as good as mine.

Interestingly, I’ve noticed it’s smoother to play with WM on. As Alliance, ofc this is convenient. But as Horde either you die to trash mobs due to lag, or turn WM on and get dumpstered. Pick your poison :tipping_hand_woman:t2:

Is it fixed yet?
