If blizzard actually care about oceanic players at all.
They will provide a better solution to the community either with oce seeded instance servers even if this takes some time to implement.
Or they will not intentionally kill the server and don’t open transfers and instead allow people to transfer to shadowstrike.
Don’t lock character creation this goes directly against the claim of saying the transfers are “optional” we both know what this really means.
You asked for feedback we gave you 100’s of comments and threads with polls and podcasts and you can’t even give us an update or any communication at all.
Extremely disappointing.

If you mean expecting blizzard to tailor solutions for the oceanic region instead of slap in the face bandaid fixing yeah sure did.
Fact that its 2024 and there still doing this to oceanic players is laughable.
If they don’t want to at the very least enable oce seeded instances, they should allow oce to xfer to Wild Growth, as it is a west server with approx. 30-40 lower latency.

I created a toon on Living Flame (205ms) and in terms of playability the increase wasn’t significantly noticeable.
Time to face the facts that history repeats itself and just like Era and SoM, we’ll be forced to go to a US server to continue playing with a decent server population.
The “we will take on feedback” was busy work set by Blizz to give you all some false hope.
In fact - there was even an in game event tonight to commemorate the friendship and good times that were had on this server and a particularly vocal player (not pointing fingers but if you guessed, you’d probably guess right) decided to rock up and ruin it for everybody.
So in summary, it sucks, it is what it is, time to rebuild better on Crusader Strike.
As long as the oceanic community continues to accept feces thrown in there face and say thank you blizzard will continue to throw it in your face.
Once you eventually stop accepting it as okay and do something about it then they might be more willing to actually tailor something for our region.
Too many weak pessimistic people who have no heart or morals to do the right thing just because its the more difficult route.
Enjoy paying your sub fee for a sub optimal feces covered experience who knows this might be the final time you ever have an oceanic server going forward since people are so willing to accept a slap in the face.
Playing on a game that originally catered for US players only, and once there was a significant oceanic presence to justify oceanic servers, they provided the servers.
In this instance they provided the servers up front and with the player drop off it’s not feasible to keep the servers running as opposed to retail servers where the oceanic population is fairly stable apart from the regular dips and dives between content.
Just look at the server selection screen. The US servers are all medium pop or higher at like 9.00am while all the oceanic servers are low population (and were low population during our peak hours). Penance didn’t even have more than 30 level 60s online.
The writing is on the wall already and it’s threads like this that are the equivalent of keeping a corpse on life support.
Next time best just to ask for oceanic localised layers on US realms from the get-go - much harder to take those away and it won’t destroy a community almost 1 year in the making.

the population of America is 10 times that of Australia almost.
also the Servers are dead at 9:00am as people work.
those who complain there isnt groups at 9:00am are people who dont work.
during peak time of 5:00pm - 12:00pm ive always seen mass groups psting and completing content, and never had an issue getting a raid on any of my toons.
telling your entire playerbase in a region tough luck play on higher ping on a US server becuase we cant afford Oceanic is bull,
there are 3000+ active players between OCE servers, some people only came back for SOD.
they are effectively telling their oce playerbase we dont care about you, we only want your money.

Bumping because oceanic deserves better.
Only if people leave funny though they messed up and opened character creation for about 90 mins so people stole everyones names.
Pings also about 240ms.
I truly hope most people stay on shadowstrike until they offer something better.
Hoping a lot of oceanic players realise that what blizzard has done/offered isn’t acceptable and stay on shadowstrike until a better option is provided.
This is a slap in the face to all of us.

they never intended to listen to feedback, they only take feedback when its not asked, from some random post no one can find, that they use to justify their actions.
they dont care about OCE by the looks of it.
Shadowstrikes AH is Dead, literal 1 page of listings, and /who on max character gives no toons, yes its the work day but still, its bloody atrocious they have done this.

This is going to do nothing but harm the oceanic population as a whole. Players aren’t coming back to the game. The server is going to continuously decline until people quit because they can’t get groups… Congrats to the people who fought to get no transfers. You’ve succeeded in killing our region.

FALSE there are no Horde guilds on Penance that want to stay on Penance, the ping of 200ms or less in more than playable as there are players from NA that have been trapped on Penance since the beginning. LET US OFF!

the ping of 200 or less is a non issue. I have been playing on AU server from NA and have had no issues. Stop trying top make it something it is not.
