Can’t believe I’m actually commenting on the forums… Just experienced my first AV since the change. 200ms lag and that’s unbearable as a lock. Still a 15 minute wait (whats en extra 10 on AV weekend…?). Can’t imagine how horrible this is for melee.

My 3 subs (1 for GF to play with me) are gone if this isn’t reverted. All 6 months reoccurring and I’ll be requesting a refund on all 3.
Imagine having to account for an extra 200ms of ping on 50-80% of arena games you play. Basically a write off against evenly skilled rogues, that’s for sure.
Officially done with blizzard games after this sadly. Just really dont give a S**t about their customers or the quality of their games
I would have rolled US server if I wanted to play with 200+ping. I don’t care about the titles I just want to play the game without 2 seconds+ input delay. Revert change >:(

Let’s just group all regions into one so we have faster queue times. This would be a good change and nobody would be upset at all.
Look at all these first time posters (myself included) who had no complaint worth bringing to the forums for 2 years, passive players that have just gone with the flow, that are now outraged by this decision.

Grinded HWL on Arugal, 60k hks. AV weekend queue time was 8-12 mins on average, after this abomination of a change still 12 minute queues but now i have 300ms.

The last time I played arena I had 300ms and would often d/c, I was so excited to play now with my 5ms and stable net.
I get that at peak times for the first month we’ll probably get local matches but I’d rather wait once the queue gets longer than ever play with delay again.
The lag is real…
Actiblizzard is at the end of the rope… They are closing servers to save on $. They are trying to steall as much money as they can in a short time, they are firing staff left and right.
They are trying to boost revenue for Q2 for investors to put more money in. The next move at this point i feel like they will close some service or sell them to others. (Blizzard is done?)
Take my money for a boost and then change the game that I was expecting to play. Misleading I want a refund.
and the worst part is we know that is because they are watching this now since in post change observation. they care a lot right now.
NA does not know when oce links goes bad, it goes real bad. For days…
This is a giant kick in the face of oceanic players. And the seemingly underhanded/secretive way it has been implemented without any official word shows Blizzard knew this would receive massive backlash and went through with it anyway. Pretending this is for the good of oceanic queues, stability and competitiveness is just plain disingenuous. And I hope we hit them hard where it counts (with our wallets). I have been a very long time subscriber and player of wow ever since original vanilla and was gladiator through TBC/Wrath. I enjoyed the classic pvp as much as I could and grinded rank 14 but frankly only played classic wow with the hope TBC would follow to do TBC arena again without awful ping. However I have also just unsubbed and really hope Activision Blizzard seriously reconsider this awful decision.
