Just put a priority system in place, so if Oceanic PvP players are ever matched with US PvP players in Arena, then we are placed onto a US West Server for the most fair ping balance.
I would like to see then integrate in the game system a good non hassle version of controller support instead of having to rely on buggy addons. its a fun way to play and help with people with disabilities like myself,PLEAZE blizz start caring about others nd not just end raiders and pvper it cant be that hard if team of one man can do it. andi know im not the only one who wants this. both for classic and LIVE
Usa players will no opt in, itâs great for you, but honestly if your ping is the same on US servers⊠go play on a US server? For US players and other Oceanic players it makes pvp horrible as we get ~300ms
This is useless for arena, there is no queue time issue in arena, just scaling issue that needs to bw addressed. BGs is the only valid argument for merged servers and even then it will makw BGs very unpopular

US players are on US servers - so thatâs still a non-issue. For the OCE player who donât have those ping issues then the opt-in system is a straight improvement. Just because you get rubbish ping doesnât mean the rest of the players on the server do.

And thereâs the issue of timezones. Iâve played on US servers and being 3 hours behind ST is much better than being 12 hours behind. Youâre forgetting that sharding isnât in place on classic servers so thereâs still the consideration of everything else that happens outside of BGs. If the option is there, you can always choose not to select it if it impacts your ping.

There is more than enough OCE players to sustain arena 24/7.
If they cant sustain it on retail how will they sustain it on classic?
But thats not how it works, it picks a host server from the player pool.
Not everybody is in Sydney
They can? Retail isnât setup that way to suit the players, it just suits their ranking system, OCE usw to run itâs own battlegroup easy, no problems. And retail is dead in the water.

Classic was fun but the pvp system is obviously flawed. Tbc is a massive pvp system upgrade.
As for the woes of late classic Qâs that was a different situation because of the lack of competitive gear at a reasonable level of play in late game. That in addition to naxx geared players, the whole meta is kinda a mess for new players and worse many jumped ship for the fake out that was SL, AND worse when they figured out theyâd been had they were too far behind to be in the race again.
