It really isn’t fair what you have done. Last minute retraction of an offer to transfer is really unacceptable. You offered us a Transfer off a dead server to an active server, please give back that option. Our Guild wants to transfer so we can continue to raid and have access to AH mats and items we need for raiding/new crafted items. We need to do those transfers very soon as BWL is due out. Let us get settled in our new home and make new friends. Sooner rather than later. We already lost our chance to get our current names as you opened up the character creations and someone decided it would be funny to hop over and take our Guilds names. It’s meant to be a game we play for fun, this debacle has not been fun. Please at least fix the transfer problem so we can get going and organise our raids in our new home Wild Growth.
Please join my server, you might grow some balls.
Tbh, Option 3 shounds like the most viable in all aspects let people choose to stay or go. Up to them.
Maybe I’d rather not grow testicular cancer
Too late, its already growing off your forehead.
Have you tried VPN?
Has the option for war mode been considered?
Implementing this would allow the AU realms to merge, while allowing Shadowstrike to maintain their world PVP options, would probably help people who are over being ganked as they enter world dungeons, and would allow both realms to maintain the best possible latencies while also offering a bigger overall playerbase.
The issue I can see we’d run into with “World server on NA but raiding on OCE” is that the player base is spread across the world. Who gets priority on where the “instance” is launched? If a player is in NA and another is in OCE, one of them is going to suffer the pings.
I’m sure raid groups would form between locations, so now you’ll have 50% of a raid group on 20ms and the other on 150+ms.
Balls are vulnerable.
OPTION 3 - the sooner the better!
Blizzard and community please stop conflating Penance and Shadowstrike. These three options clearly demonstrate that it is not understood how to reach the solution in concise manner and why a grave mistake was made yesterday. These two servers are not linked, are not the same, stop treating them as such.
Penance should have been allowed to transfer to Wild Growth, no more questions! It was the poster child on why transfers were needed yet NOT allowed to transfer, utterly mind boggling.
The questions posed should be for Shadowstrike only. Option 2 while mentioning Penance is rhetorical only. Penance has no real option other than transfer to Wild Growth. Continuing to ask questions linking Penance and Shadowstrike is simply gaslighting us into thinking there was no grave mistake made yesterday.
Option 3 is the only non troll answer that real players want.
You have hundreds upon hundreds of posts from players wanting to migrate.
Are you listening now Blizzard?
Let us transfer FFS
Why don’t you want to take the first offer. You’re on penance offer 1 gives you what you want and offer 3 gives you what you want while pissing off shadow strike.
Unless that’s your intention.
An overwhelming response for Option 3. It’s pretty clear cut at this point.
Option 1
but also
- let oceanic players xfer in to Shadowstrike from anywhere including PVE
- monitor shadowstrike population and if it gets much worse than it is now, let us transfer to a US WEST hosted server like Wild Growth, as central ping is worse and not worth it.
Option 1) should be done regardless of other feedback from Shadowstrike players in all honesty. Penance is a small server, and they do need to have some pop love, and it kind of falls into its own category aside from the other options.
Option 2) would be weird, but I’d still take it to have some extra players injected into the server. Although I’m sure the horde players who camp thorium point all day would be disheartened by this change.
Option 3) Would probably be better/best if Shadowstrike could merge into Wild Growth. The BIGGEST issue for the majority who have voiced concerns with the mega-merge is the ping delay, and the fact that CrusadeStrike is located in US central, and not US west. Being able to move to the better ping option would be much nicer.
Option 3 is full freedom, freedom that you are trying to take away from everybody.
Players on shadowstrike deserve their choice as well. You do not speak on their behalf.
I want freedom for all OCE to choose as they wish.
I do like this.
I think that opening Option 1 and later option 3 however, letting Shadowstrike transfer into either Wild Growth or Crusader Strike if thats a possibility, depending on how the population grows based on letting everyone transfer into it. That way you put the weight on the players instead of Blizzard themselves. I believe the biggest issue for everyone is PING more so than anything else rather than the PvP aspect, so allow people to go to Wild Growth.
bruh you’re on penance. You don’t have a say in it.
I had a say in it the moment that SS trolls tricked blizzard into cancelling our transfer.
We’re in this together buddy.
Like i said, you speak for nobody.
Freedom for OCE.
