I get really annoyed when OCE groups don’t list as OCE. The ping is infuriating and even if we time the key I don’t have any fun. Why would you ever want to group with the other side?
You have that list available to you. Just click “Change Realm” from the character window, click one of the tabs at the bottom of the panel, and view which realm is on OCE, BR, and LA servers.
Maybe they thought you knew how to tell which are OCE servers. There’s only 12 of them.

LOL you haven’t played much with OCE servers have you, along with you maybe lucky enough not to have ping issues with them. Personally if it’s a OCE leader group I get a terrible ping due to the server location being so far. Which is why most avoid OCE due to ping issues, not so much that their eging exclusive for the sake of whatever narrative you’re trying to spin here.
Well, I speak English and I play on NA servers, where I live.
But this may shock you, but not everyone in South East Asia speaks English, and even if they do it might not be their native tongue, and they may not want to play games with their friends while speaking English.
why on earth would OCE players expect everyone signing up for their keys has memorized or made a spreadsheet of their servers? especially when they could take 3 seconds and write OCE?

Because I find it hard to see why you think you are too important to familiarize yourself with such a short list of server names but outraged that you are forced to join groups that have those server names that you have deliberately avoided familiarizing yourself with.

memorize every OCE server or write it down somewhere. When signing up to any key always check this list to make sure you’re not signing up to for OCE. Remember, theres only 12 servers so most keys wont be OCE but you never know.

Probably the same reason that majority of US doesn’t want to queue with OCE in any rated PvP.
OCE player here, if a US player wants to join the group and is fine with the ping I’ll invite them.
you’re aware that more than 80% of players in oce are in oz and nz right? And singapore speaks english. Taiwan and china are not part of the OCE server.
get raider IO addon and it’ll tell you where the group is from. When I go into group finder I see suffix USP, USC,USE, BZL, MEX, OCE at the start. Easy enough for you?
raider IO is built into the game now. Its shocking how this is the hill people die on. Download an addon, memorize the servers, check every group you sign up to becuase I can’t write OCE in my group title. Can you guys just not spell OCE or something?

I love this type of argument! The exception over majority argument is always funny.
My sister is allergic to tomatoes. When we go to a restaurant and she gets something with tomatoes she always asks for it to be removed. The server never asks if shes allergic though!!!
Its easier for the exception to let others know they’re the exception than for everyone to ask if they are. Imagine the server asking every person that sits down if they’re allergic to tomatoes. NA is the majority, you’re the one thats allergic to tomatoes. I understand you’re in to deep to climb off the hill now but later tonight I hope you can sneak off it undetected
funny thing about ping. Some people can play w/ or w/o it while some people use it as and excuse coz they’re bad. Same way as WFR playing in EU ping while they’re in NA and vice versa. But I guess people just need to make excuses everytime

Just lazy to do it. Since people already use the addon. Sometimes you just need to learn to read. You know how to read right past 5th grade?
I can understand this I am an OCE player and often group into solo shuffle with international players and the latency gets so high it’s unplayable, literally goes from 15ms all the way to 2000ms, which only happens when grouping with players overseas.
