Pwave does feel a bit redundant: Lava Lash already spreads Flame Shock and we already have Chain Lighting.
Give us Chain Harvest back?

Fixed your statement. Only reason people screech for Red Chain Lighting is because it was literally idiot proof to use.

Wtf are you on about? Pwave only applies flame shock to one target, you still have to spread it with lash.
This is such basic information that im shocked you got it wrong. There is no redundancy between pwave and assault, and even if there was, WHO CARES??? More ways to spread dots? Oh my god what a problem I need to complain about this immediately, even if it makes zero sense

Wasnât Fae Transfusion the meta pick for enh by the end of SL? (at least in raid) Like, people knew Primordial Wave could be good but found that it wasnât fun, so they didnât use it. Night Fae ftw. Bring back the big succ.
I just like that itâs not meta for anything with Rsham. I was a bit confused by this thread til I realized itâs mostly Elem players. Really glad they changed Farseerâs activator to Unleash node.
I really dislike the ability. In Resto tree you also need to take some dubious talents to even get to it.
I think making Pwave required for Farseer Ele was bad design.
P-wave to me has always been a very boring ability and the only thing that make it fun to use were all the other talents that added effects on to it. Such as instant 10 maelstrom weapon stacks and 20% haste. (RIP)
Now that all those other effects have been nerfed and the tier sets arenât directly buffing it, Iâm not sure I will be specced into Pwave ever again. Which is fine with me honestly.

I think it made perfect sense to so (while still being dumb design forcing a talent) when Fire Farseer was a thing since AS + Pwave gave you burst outside of Ascendance and the haste amp was good for getting everything out during grandpas. Now its pretty just held up by CDR from FoL to the point where its optimal to use Pwave + LMT playing Stormbringer in AoE.
PTR are starting to look like dropping it in Stormbringer since without the short CD and being gutted so much its not worth the setup, haste, and Maelstrom generation.
Pwave applying Flame Shock combined with just being able to natty Flame Shock something is actually goated since it pretty much made Enhance the only melee with proper spread cleave and you can really capitalize on it hard core doing some peak rat behavior. Larry phase 2 when the Adds spawn outside you can Flame shock 2 mobs with Pwave and Flameshock and get a 3 stack of Splintered. Extra 8% is pretty nice.
We should go back to Legion Era Maelstrom Enhancement! 
Make that proc class into a builder-spender! As Chris Metzen intended! Primordial Wave can be a spender!

Fae transfusion would be cool reskinned as an alternate more powerful earthquake. Channeled ability but itâs 5x more powerful. Aoe stun and snare.
Or a volcanic eruption ⊠so itâs first a sinkhole and then it fires the enemies upwards and does a ton of damage.
Name it ⊠âtectonic eruptionâ. Or just eruption.
And then I could imbed a sound byte of Van Halen in my files and play the intro to eruption whenever I cast kt âŠ

Gonna sick channeling this dumb spell with current design just vomiting thing all over the damn place in M+ and Raids. Hate Fae for that reason.
Okay so this is the best lipstick we could find for our pig. That doesnt make pwave good. That means shaman SL abilities blow.
Again, consider other classes, Bastionâs Spear, Convoke, Abom Limb, Shifting Power. These are like class defining abilities now. They are fun to press. pwave is justâŠthere. Itâs a pain to use as resto. Ele / Enh have this spell cleave idea built around it, but the button itself is a nothing burger. Might as well call it âFlame Shock 2â

Pwave is quite literally the reason Enhancement Shaman did well DF. No other melee spec had proper spread cleave and it gave Enhance the best funnel/priority damage in the game combined with Ashen Catalyst. Hell, its still good now because it lets you stick multiple Lightning Rods quickly.
Ele is less than steller by comparison but still is 100% better than the others.

That is not because of pwave. It is the tier and the talents. That is how bad pwave is. It requires multiple layers of borrowed power to make it decent.
Other classes donât have that issue
