On my frost DK when i get rime or killing machine proc there is a huge pulsing thing on the screen around the character and it plays a very loud noise that sounds like a frost giant having an asthma attack.
I cant find anything in options to turn this sh!t off.
As the expansions go on, you’ll notice more and more of that kind of thing. Its just one more step towards Retail.
i played bfa and shadowlands.
There was an option to turn that stuff off.

The fact that they shipped the patch with the horribly loud, obnoxious sound exactly like it was on the ptr is both very disappointing and not surprising, either there’s a sound slider im missing somewhere or it’s bugged???

Options > Audio > Turn “Effects” down. Not a perfect fix but was a quick hot fix to save myself from going crazy on my mage every 5 seconds it was spamming some effect.
