Okay, whatever, I addressed your completely unrelated concern about racial slurs outside of the context of this forum. Now back to what OP was crying about, which was being trash talked on a level 1 alt.
There really is no resolution to this other than me saying I think OP is weak, and you think… I’m not sure. I guess that people should be censored into the ground if they hurt your feelings.
Anyway it’s been fun.
My kids are doing just fine. But around here parents are also heavily involved in the school and care enough to discipline their children. We are also prepped our kids how to handle bullies and other people who project their issues on others.
The environment as a whole is developmental, it’s not meant to be easy.

Yeah unprovoked obscenities like that should catch an action. That is my stance because it’s poor behavior.
For the one in 10 million chance it happens to them? Neither they or I think about it because I have them proper context.

That is the actual odds as of 2022 by the way. They should be far more worried about bees, lightning, plan crashes and a myriad of other far more likely, yet still exceedingly rare occurrences.

You can prep, you can train, but worrying about something that is most likely, to an almost insane degree, not going to happen to you, is silly.
I don’t worry about planes hitting buildings I’m in and I was at the Pentagon on 9/11.

Children will be as scared as their parents and media make them. Not once have I seen a story talk about the statistical reality of school shootings.

I don’t think it’s acceptable for random strangers to throw verbal abuse and obscenities at strangers though the in game chat. It’s happened 3 times to me this week since this change went live. I think it’s a valid point for discussion here, and if the Activision corporation has any concern for player abuse in it’s games, it should of of interest to the company and developers as well. Nobody is asking you to do anything aside from keep psychotic IRL rants to yourself or amongst your friends. If this is standard PvP practice in WoW now, I don’t adhere to it and I have no interest in conversing with people who do it. I also don’t agree with you that it’s soft or weak to have at a basic minimum of class and respect for people.

Sometimes i get the feeling for some banter when i beat some fellow benediction alliance players in a battleground. Then i remind myself its classic, its a battle ground, and im a shell of what i use to be in pvp lmao. I just say gg if i see them. People who want to talk smack should play a different more competive game than tbc classic.

You gank my leveling toon more than once I’m going to whisper you and ask you for a duel on my main. I won’t be rude, but I’ll probably call you out for being a scumbag you are in a non offensive way. Most decline the fair fight because they would rather fight lowbies that can easily beat. Meanwhile my main would 2-3 shot them when I catch up to them. It’s their idea of PvP, fighting battles they would easily win with no contest.
The faction restriction change is fantastic for me because I can now stalk those idiots and gank / camp them by tracking their location now for hours.
That’s PvP at its finest. You pick a battle, you pay the consequences. You gank once it’s part of the game. You try to grief, I grief harder.

There are 3 ways to look at it:

If you did something bad (though typically this would be same faction rage tells) then perhaps you should reflect on your game and play better.

If you where just dunking on the other team like Jordan vs a grade schooler in pick up basketball, then take their rage tells as a compliment.

If #2, but you where in a full premade stomping pug bgs, then you’re probably just a degenerate, and #1 probably also applies. I’ve seen plenty of downright terrible players get completely saved/carried by a premade get really cocky with their emotes before… It’s like “yeah great bud, you won a duel against me… After getting healed to full 3 times by your group bailing you out”

So much of that. The alliance have started making an appearance and I’d say they were the most pathetic PvPers on the planet if it weren’t for the fact that I can pretty much never find any Horde willing to group up and put them in their place.
These guys are only “good” when they’re beating up players 7+ levels lower than them with zero resilience or when they outnumber you 3-4 to 1.

What ive noticed since i started leveling an ally character is that the lowbie gankers are always some horde 1300 rating 35% winrate stucker dog.
You deserve every insult.
