Null Pebble Excavation - 2 Null Stones for 3 Mining Knowledge

They nerfed patron orders yesterday so hopefully as new orders come in they will be less expensive (I got 2 good ones on tailor and leatherworker yesterday).

Nope. My new tailoring order for 2 knowledge requires 4 sanctified alloy.

I wish they fix it.

two null stones at 5k gold is gotten in 10 minutes of daily quests throughout the week too.

so i dunno, pretend that instead of 10k gold of mats in a one-shot is really 1,430 gold a day for a week.

And to compound that, just pretend that those world quests that give 900 gold each are giving a fraction of a knowledge point.

ta da, ā€œnull stones are expensive and required for the weekly quest for the most valuable crafting resource in the gameā€ doesnā€™t warrant much sympathy, as my point for bringing up patron orders was that even though they rotate, you can literally not do them due to recipe requirement and they can cost 3-90x more.

Absolutely is not ture, you cant not make that unless you get really lucky with mines. so no.

Besides its the principle of the matter, players should not be forking over gold, at least THIS much gold for 3 knowledge points thats incredible stupid.

Crafters can also get their weekly 3 craft quest completed by just getting someone to create cheap personal orders for them.

Gatherers get a bunch of knowledge points from gathering. Crafters do not and have to rely on patron orders for knowledge outside the weekly quest.

Gatherers also need like 200 less knowledge points overall than crafters.

If you have a tailor/enchanter combo this is ridiculously easy to do; make 7 cloth bracers and then shatter the resulting shards for 21 dust.

It honestly wouldnā€™t be that bad if it was coupled with them raising the drop rate of imperfect null stones.

Can we not make this a us vs them conversation. I have crafting alts, and agree patron orders suck. Iā€™m really hoping the hotfix they did for patron orders.

This post is about how terrible the mining quest is this week.

Professions

  • Patron Orders
    • All customers (except for the Artisanā€™s Consortium) now have a chance to provide basic reagents.
    • Increased the likelihood for all customers to provide basic reagents.
    • Lowered the quality requirement on many potential orders that grant specialization points by 1.
    • Addressed several rare cases where a customer could request a minimum quality for items without quality.
    • Removed several abnormally expensive orders from the pool of potential Patron Orders, such as Alchemy Cauldrons, Engineering Toys, and Darkmoon Sigils.
      • Developersā€™ notes: All of the above changes only apply to newly created orders, existing orders should remain unchanged.

They must allow drinking on the job or something. No one in their right minds would think this weekā€™s quest is ok.

And just like that the price of null stones is increasing on AH again.

Hell I can top that. I have seen cauldrons on the patron work order system and they give me some artisan currency, not even a skill up.

You can also do this with your alts. Create a personal alchemy work order for health pots, for example.

Just a bit of logging in and out of characters, but easy enough.

Blizzardā€™s done lost their minds with this one! Ainā€™t no freakinā€™ way Iā€™m handing over ~18,000 gold in materials for this quest.

Since the quest name is Null pebble maybe they coded it wrong an meant 2 Imperfect Null Stones. Still not a fan but wouldnā€™t be as bad as 2 Null Stones.

I just do that with alts. Just post up personal orders from another character, bam done.

Step 1 : Log into enchanter, and fill out orders for alts with crafting professions.
Step 2 : Log into each one in order and fill the orders for enchanter
Step 3 : Log back into enchanter, grab gear from the mail and disenchant.
Step 4 : Complete enchanter quest for dust.

Would not get too upset. Next weeks rotational mining quest requires 20 null stones for the same skill points.

You need 50 wax to get token to get a bag that gives 5-10 dust ( IIRC, ir got nerfed )

Never seen a pile that gives 10 wax. Itā€™s usually 1, sometimes thereā€™s a game where you can get a few more.

yea, but then Iā€™ve got a pocket full of dirty pennies.

Wild the level of misinformation on here, this is flat out false who is out here getting two stones in 10 min lol
