I would rather have DK have double damage than 30s team ams and that null magic stuff… DH/DK gonna be invincible vs any team with a wizard unless BIG nerfs.

DK isn’t even as powerful as you think they are outside of prepatch. Prepatch is always imbalanced. This is why you will see ZERO tuning til then

They’re really strong on beta too… you won’t see tuning because they simply don’t care about spending time to fix something when they have the excuse of “Wait three weeks, it’ll be better…”. It’s never better lol.
Yeah, but this one is grossly overpowered against DOT reliant classes like Aff, Shadow and Moonkin.
On a minute cooldown with mere 3 talent points (granted 2 are capstones), DKs can remove all magic DOTs from themselves and 2 allies. And they don’t take backlash dmg like DH do when they reverse magic. Somehow, slipped through the cracks!!!
Unyielding Will and Vestigial Shell.
Def needs PVP tuning. And if they dispel UA or Flame Shock, the backlash dmg MUST trigger on the death knight!!!
How does Vestigial Shell work? If healer is in a full poly/fear, would casting anti-magic shell reduce the remaining duration by half???

can’t believe people actually put significant time and effort pvping during prepatch and then whine about it when things are horribly imbalanced as they always have been for the past 20 years or so of prepatches that we’ve had at this point

I haven’t physically tested it, but my guess would be that debuffs are reduced on application. I can test this later using mage prismatic barrier.
Again, I haven’t physically tested this, but unyielding wills spell code is self targeted, suggesting it will only apply to the dk
They may also be taking backlash damage, but since they have ams up it gets absorbed. Will verify that later too.

I thought melee were anti caster by nature. I mean every melee has an interrupt but not every caster has one. Then we look at the amount of anti magic tools like reflect, tattoos , ams, diffuse, spellwarding etc.
Where’s the anti physical equivalent? Imagine if every caster had disarm…melee would cry to the moon.
Also, just look at the amount of gapclosers vs openers, mage being the only one tailored towards outmaneuvering gapopeners.
Casters are almost required to favor instant casting over regular casting due to the absurd imbalance of melee vs ranged toolkits.
Casters are intentionally tuned higher than melee classes cause if it was a 1:1 balance there would be no casters in arenas.
