NPC won't give quest to new Blood Elf

See Edit Below. Problem solved:

I just installed WoW Classic, created a Blood Elf Hunter, entered the game and got to the 1st NPC with a “!”. I clicked on her and she did the usual “Our enemies will fall”, etc but she wouldn’t give me a quest.

Anyone else see this? Any way around it?

EDIT: Problem solved. In Retail you can either left click or right click to get the quest. In Classic only a right click gives you the quest. A left click you hear the “Death to our enemies” type thing but no quest.

Did you boost the toon or was it a lvl 1?

Brand new. I’ve been playing Retail since Cataclysm. I just installed Classic, created a new Blood Elf, entered the world, heard the speech and arrived at my 'toon in the Quel’thalas starter zone as I have many times before in Retail.

I click on the NPC, she gives me the usual “Our enemies will fall” type of response but no quest pops up for me to “Accept”. More clicking just results in more Blood Elf vocal responses but no quest.

Any addon’s installed at all? If so disable those an enable 1 by 1, if you have questie addon it could be that. Otherwise try to move away from the npc enough for a window to close an try to talk to them again.

if you have any questing routes addon like Guidelimes, RXP, WoW-Pro Guides, did they auto accept the quest for you and automatically close the window?

That is also possible as well.

yeah i just went and checked, Guidelime and WoW-pro Guides will pull up the menu briefly, but with questie auto accept the window doesn’t pop up at all

No add ons. I never use them.
