Hi guys, I notice that some of the NPC’s on the isles have the “Dracthyr eyes” that are different races. I’ve seen a Troll, Female Blood Elf and the Pandaren cooking lady with this for example.
Please, let us pick our own race visage! It is already in game. I’ll even take the simple eye switch I just want to be a Vulpera Dragon thing, thank you!

I’d settle for having more than the two dopey-looking nose choices for starters. Right now it’s a choice of pointy or smush-nose.

I think that’s half what they are saying. If dragons can be any race visage, why not Dracthyr? Maybe it will be something that can be added later, like when they started adding all of those Soulshape skins for Night Fae characters.

Also Cindre and Azure speculate that it was meant for a different purpose
While I understand you all wanted more Dracthyr visages, my going theory is they STARTED with belf/human models because if they did a visage for every race in game, we’d still be waiting on Dracthyr to be released.
I still don’t get why they didn’t just add the new class to existing races and scrap the now visage form. Would’ve even saved them a lot of dev effort as well.
Could’ve just skipped out on all the customizations and use the base races. Maybe just add some new eye options and call it done.

I see that but why would they make that decision? More people would play evokers if they weren’t restricted to the new race.

When they do the 2000 year time skip (without being frozen in stasis) and yall fully grown maybe you’ll learn diff visage forms.

I feel it depends on which side of the aisle you fall when it comes to visage options. For people who like playing humans or belves, of which there are a lot of people, they’re likely fine as-is. It’s probably why they went this way, as it was a safe bet.
If you wanted a visage of any other race, then no special customization would still be an upgrade over a mechanic that otherwise provides nothing appealing at all to you.
Now that I think of it, do Dracthyr actually even eventually grow up to become full Dragons or are they at end stage development?
Seems like Deathwing cross-bred a Dragonkin & a Elf and called it a day.

I’d rather have a race choice with only normal customizations for the race for visage, and from the many posts on the forums quite a few would also.
They could do something as simple as ‘choose your visage form’ dropdown, with Draconic being the current one, and then all other races after.
Just have a disclaimer above the non-draconic ones ‘if choosing a non-draconic visage, visage barbershop options will only be those normally available for that race with no draconic extras’, there, we can have a visage be whatever we want, and no extra ‘make draconic stuff for other races’ work for Blizzard right now.
Then we can be the visage we want now, and they can add the extras later.

And? They are draconic in nature, and they have a visage form they chose, point is moot.
