If they let Dracthyr Visage as everyone, and then eventually made good on letting Dracthyr playing every class, their racial play balance would rival Blood Elves during TBC, prob even surpass it tbh
If Dracthyr could only play Evoker tho forever, then maybe sure, but idk if yall necessarily want that.

It’d probably seem a bit janky but I think a “workaround” to prevent this would be to make visages an evoker-only ability. That’d functionally give evoker to every race, while making sure that dracthyr of other classes can’t “switch races” on the fly without paying for a race change like other players.

Then they shouldn’t have made visages a player ability at all, because that’s what started this whole mess of people wanting different customization options and feeling let down by its limitations.
But Blizzard’s also intrinsically tied visages into how dragons choose to express their identity and reinforced the point several times. To remain consistent with that theming, I think it’s appropriate to expand on the system by letting players actually decide for themselves how they want to make their dracthyr express themselves in-game, if they’re capable of expanding it.

I really hope Dracthyr visages are opened in the future, even if you only get access to the base customizations.
The body scales could be easily shared tho, since they use the same UV mapping than player gear. And the eyes. Horns would have to be made, but DH horns already prove you can add customization options separate from the model itself.
A lot of people want to play dragons.
But apparently dont want to be a dragon.

I mean as of right now, I never leave dragon form, cause why would i want to?
If i could have a Tauren Visage, then maybe I’d use it more.

One of the weeklys for the black dragons has a Draenei Dragon that helps you. She is in her Draenei form when fighting normal mobs but will fly you around in her dragon form when you need to kill some birds. So why can’t we have Draenei visage forms now for our drcathyr?
Because she is a dragon and not a dracthyr?
While I would love to have the waggle on my Evoker the dracthyr visage is different than the dragon one somehow (and thusly means that additional races are shelved untill we discover what that is or improve on ours)
