Sanctuary is the world where the Diablo series take place. Like i said on the title now that we crossed into other dimensions, how crazy it would be if we eventually travel there to Sanctuary and fight Diablo and his brothers. It doesn’t have to be in the same continuity as the one we used to, but its own version that would fit in the Warcraft Universe.
Isn’t that what Torghast is and all that jazz?

Not talking about the dungeon that randomly generate here, i meant the planet as a whole.
I think it could be a pretty neat concept actually. Maybe a yearly event where the walls of reality weaken enough we cross over into another realm. We could fight in different Blizzard universes against a world boss from that universe. Maybe help Raynor subdue Kerrigan, or we do Dark Tristram.

I’m sure that one day Decard Cain will appear as a World of Warcraft NPC and will ask you to “Stay awhile and listen!”, in which the Diablo expansion to World of Warcraft will kick off.

Remember Sanctuary was made using the world stone, and populated by the offspring of the high heavens and the deziens of hell.
The other worlds in Diablo ARE the high heavens and hell, something diffrent from the twisting nether and shadowlands, the naruu and the burning legion.
Admittedly, they can always recon the heck out of it, in witch case anything goes.
But the two game worlds as they are currently, wouldn’t cross.
(not that it wouldn’t be pretty cool to do i wont lie…

We could totally fit that into the event… he is Horadrim… he could totally tell us a story about Dark Tristram and the magic within his voice would transport us there.

Diablo has crossed over into Azeroth along with Starcraft. Instead of seeing future Azeroth, it’s just a hellscape with demons running around.

Tyrael is just a traitor. Imperius would kill Tyrael if he actually used any of his power, but slaying brother would be even higher blasphemy
Either one would be fine, plus I think Imperius let Tyrael win out of pity lol. Tyrael would probably end up chilling out at Lights Hope Chapel trying to be all nostalgic to a bunch of paladins.
There’s no way Imperius let Tyrael win out of pity. Imperius is way too hardcore to let somebody sass him, or try to tell him how things should be run. Tyrael kicked his rear.

what i mean is that the WoW version would have its own continuity and the World Stone would be some titan artifact and Diablo, Mephisto and Baal would be part of the Burning Legion instead of the Burning Hell.

You are assuming the denizens of Sanctuary understand and name the cosmos in the same way as those of Azeroth. Plus, they might not be in the same “cosmic neighborhood,” but still exist in the same universe. A cross-over wouldn’t be as far-fetched as you think.

Have Kadgar attempting to open a portal (maybe to the AU universe?) and mess up, as his magic touches the world stone, and Dalaran is swarmed with a legion of the goat men and other diablo demons, we push the back, and go though the portal… and wind up in Tristam…
The town is bearly hanging on, and we have to help them rebuild and push the legions back, before finding out the prime evil will soon resseruct itself, and so we brave the infamous cathedral as a raid, fighting our way down into hell to stop the prime evil in its tracks.
I was more going off the lore, since thats also based on what the high heavens and hells know, the short animation during their war before Sanctuary was created gave a strong impression that it is only the 3 realms.
EDIT: 4, i just remembered there IS a realm of the dead, Rathma’s teacher is there, i don’t recall (its been forever) if they ever indicated there was a elemental plane for them.
