If you think about it, what with the undead at the beginning and the demons at the end Diablo 3 was really just Warcraft 3 with more Blood, less Thrall and Demon hunters with a ranged spec.

He also is the reason the high heavens began to fall, as he broke its unity and the angels rely on that unity for nearly everything.

That was the whole reason for Diablo’s trap and why he targeted Imperius with it, with the shattered unity, they can’t even create new angels to restore the ones who are lost.

Why would he blame humanity for something completely out of their control? Heck, he could have prevented the ““unholy”” union between Lilith and Inarius by keeping the Worldstone secure, or making Inarius sit back down and stop being horny.

Yeah, and we already have some battle pets from those worlds: Mini Zergling, Grunty, Treasure Goblin, Mini Tyrael, Mini Diablo, Mini Thor, Witch Doctor, Baneling, Zeradar. Squirt is rumored to be from there. Felhunters (demon and mount) are zerg-like.

At the top of Torghast is a portal to Tristram, you have to beat the jailer to get access.

It could easily be that “The High Heavens” and the hells are just two of them, and sanctuary is their associated mortal realm.

They don’t know about the rest of it because they’ve never encountered beings from other realms.
