I still haven’t switched out of Elvui as I wanted all the bugs and stuff worked out with the new WoW UI… how is it overall? Still having issues or things pretty stable now?
I like it, it doesn’t seem to be giving me any problems.
The Chat window STILL won’t keep the size I change it to.
STILL can’t nudge UI elements with the arrow-keys, which is like 40 year old tech, literally.
I’d like to think these will eventually get fixed/updated but… this isn’t really a big ask. The Text box keeping the shape I set it to is a SUPER BASIC THING.
The fact this STILL isn’t fixed is embarrassing.
The nudge thing… I’d be a lot more patient about… if it, too, wasn’t such a fundamentally BASIC thing.
I’m trying to be patient but… cmon man.
edit to add: OH BIG THING!! We should be able to copy, not just the UI elements to copy to another chr, but the SKILL BUTTONS TOO.
I have 30+ Warriors… I should just be able to make a “Warrior” layout, and MS goes in same spot. Rend in same spot, Overpower, same spot, etc etc etc.
It’s awful, give us a “stock Blizzard UI” option/toggle button please
Whole bunch of new bugs popped up Tuesday. Lots of windows and things like Alchemy tables not working.
For me it’s not good or bad. Just meh. Can get rid of bartender with out too much trouble but as of now it broke so many other things it’s kind of a down grade.
Haven’t changed. I still love it.
Still like it!
i heard its still the same-ish, i would like an option for the old UI or frameworks(art) of it [map, bottom bar, and bags (art)] at the very least. Just an option.
I like the one I made. The only problem I have with it is that it’s possibly causing errors with my addons. Sometimes it freezes and I just keep getting pop-up errors. Can’t use my spells nor nothing.
Works well for my needs. I was using DOM before this, so it’s nice not having to wait for an addon update for my UI after each patch day.
I used the old ui andy only wish was to be able to use 3 action bars on top of each other. The new ui allows that and allows me to wrap one bar into 2 rows of 6, which is great for my mounts and fluff abilities that have practical application.
I can see why others are having issues with how small certain elements are, but I haven’t had as much as an issue with it on my 60" tv I play on.
I’m used to it. It needs improvement but it’s a step above the original.
I managed to get it to look very similar to my Elvui setup so I finally got rid of the addon.
Not good enough.
I was hoping to get rid of some of my core addons like dominos and bagnon but the way its implemented just isnt good enough.
Mainbar - usable in a pinch but no way to adjust the font size to be able to make keybinds / macro text more readable have me going back to dominos.
Bags - great step in the right direction having the option to combine everything into 1 bag but no ability to move and resize it and makes it useless .
I like the fact that they have integrated the ability to move many of the UI elements around without the use of addons though.
Still don’t like it we should of been given opt to either use the new one or keep the old UI…plain and simple.
Let me hide the main bar and then it’s perfect.
I’m used to the new UI overall, though it still has issues where things get out of place. It usually happens after a patch, I’ve noticed. Often I just have to drag a few things back where I want them and we’re back in business.
I still don’t love the aesthetics on the new UI, but functionally, it’s fine.
There are still elements that need to be moveable, and we need the option to nudge things pixel-by-pixel, but it’s like 85% of the way there.
Several things need work
- allow the movement of the bag/exp/(panels for those other things)
- Stop popups from wandering off screen
- let me adjust where the enemy cast bar is
- let me shrink/expand individual parts of the UI
These are the most annoying parts TBH. Everything else is pretty decent but I’m more hoping that the addons stop breaking soon than anything else
Its fine. i have mine setup identical to what my old addons were. the only thing i hate is the raid frames move from left to right as they fill up.
