Demon Hunting should be illegal.
Just because some demons are willing to participate in civilization without trying to burn it to the ground doesn’t mean all demons are fine.
Same way there are Undead members of the Horde, but undead as a whole aren’t all Horde citizens.
this games lore makes no sense lol
Some people are just petty. Demon hunters are stuck in their ways and will never change.

Hey, real life makes no sense so why should the WoW lore?
The Nathrezim, Archimonde(who died in the Cutscene on Draenor regardless of whether he is killed in Mythic or not therefore he should be reforming in the Twisting Nether) and Mannoroth still have lackeys.
Just because some Eredar are taking the chance to ditch the Legion now that Sargeras is out of the picture does not mean that the lackeys of Archimonde, Denathrius and Mannoroth should not be hunted down!
I feel like the Alliance allowing the ACTUAL, LITERAL BURNING LEGION into its ranks should be a bigger deal that it has been made out to be. Like, we dedicated an entire expansion to stopping them from destroying the world.
then afterwards, some of them said said “my bad”.
the Alliance said “yeah sure whatever we accept your apology come on down and fight the evil horrible terrible Horde with us”
and everyone else kinda just went
.
If it were the Horde, Alliance RPers would be demanding Yet Another Siege Of Orgrimmar over it.
The Illidari are legally blind and therefore cannot read this.
To be fair, the Man’ari and the Orcs have the exact same story, except the Man’ari succeeded for thousands of years while the Orcs failed instantly.
Both were just chilling on their planet, until a corrupting external figure (Kil’jaeden for the Orcs, Sargeras for the Man’ari) disguised himself as a benevolent entity and made promises of power.
After that, they genocided the Draenei.
That went on until their corrupt leaders were slain (Gul’dan and Blackhand for the Orcs, Archimonde and Kil’jaeden for the Man’ari).
Then they decided to go back to their old honorable ways, but kept the Fel Magic in the back pocket just in case
The only difference is that the Orcs’ leaders got killed in a few years, while the Man’ari leaders took thousands of years to kill.
So, long story short: Orcs don’t really have any moral high ground on the Man’ari, they just lose faster lol
I don’t need an excuse to want to siege Orgrimmar. I’d siege Stormwind over some shiny baubles if given the option.
On that note I do hope revamped Silvermoon (or Eversong at large if not in the city) has a little Illidari corner like Bel’ameth does.
I’m not exactly seeing man’ari reeducation camps here. Like for better or worse surviving orcs did have consequences after the second war that I’m not seeing with the man’ari recruitment scenario.
I think it would be a fun raid map.
Demons will never be trustworthy and any attempt to let them into our society will end in disaster. I will never regret. I will never stop.
oh that would be nice.
I’m just hoping that we get ANY further Demon Hunter involvement in the narrative at some point. Narratively, Blizzard has left us by the wayside since Legion.
there was a quest for a Warglaive in DF and a small quest in TWW to hunt down a rogue demon that we shared with Warlocks, but beyond that…I’ve always been wondering what DH’s overall have been up to since the thing they were created for was accomplished.
at least DKs had some relevance in Shadowlands.
Just one expansion is an undersell. They were literally the core antagonists of the setting and were the architects of basically every misery to befall Azeroth.
But one apology and an atmal crystal later and they’re in Undermine grinding Darkfuse rep
The Draenei have a strict rule against war crimes lol
time is money, friend
Canonically the Penitant are more or less confined to Argus where they assist the Krokul and the Army of the Light in wiping out what remains of The Legion.
The player is free to romp about for unspecified reasons. In the heritage quest the man’ari were under close Lightforged supervision.
It’s not great, but it’s more than we had before the heritage quest.
It does if you literally just use 2% of your brain. Small segment of eredar wants to join their long lost kin. That is it. Also, the player character demon hunter as a demonic soul, which makes them a demon.
So yeah, lore always made sense.
nah, you had a whole expansion to where you were stopping these same people, now all of the sudden the alliance is just okay with them? “i’m sorry some of us are bad but i’m not” with that logic, some of us horde’s could of said the same deal and waltz into stormwind. not sure what’s taking so long, they let wrathion bring in random dragons and i guess we forgot he was part of the reason varian died. again, games lore makes no sense lol. .
