Now That Demons Are Proper Citizens of the Alliance

FWIW I both think a siege of Stormwind has the potential to be fun and also funny but also that the main faction capitals should be opened up. It makes no sense to have constant embassies back and forth and the mandatory pvp flagging to remain.

Like somewhat noticeably: the embassies in Dornogal aren’t faction locked.

Lore wise, the horde can go into SW right now. It just isn’t in the game because of game coding.

Again, the lore makes complete sense. Also the small demonic band, and demon hunters, usually do not stay in the cities. Again, gameplay isn’t lore.

It’s literally just because of the games coding.

No, live in fear.

Thats funny my demons think the same about you

Oh I’m sure beneath all the excuses are several layers of spaghetti code. I was so disappointed when I realized I couldn’t even heal cross faction party members in open world parties.

As a completely unbiased, innocent, former general of the Burning Legion (allegedly), I support this.

I can go to silver pine and help Banshee Queen Sylvanas undermine Warchief Garrosh in waging a war against the worgen. As the story progresses and goes further south I can complete a quest where my undead helps the Worgen retake gilneas from the Scarlet Crusade for some reason and then go back to murdering worgen for Sylvanas.

Just an anecdote to say that WoW’s lore overall is really bad and isn’t meant to be looked at much. It’s just there to explain why you killed bugs last season and goblins this season.

yeah the game outside of the main expansion zones almost never catches up to the Lore.

for example, Arathor literally lives in Silvermoon. like, his house with the bed that he sleeps in at night, is in Silvermoon City.

The World is not nearly as faction-separated in lore as the game mechanics would have you believe, and it hasn’t been since the end of Shadowlands.

this makes a future abolishment of faction separation believable to me. That seems to be one of the end-goal of what they are working to establish in the narrative whether Faction-Brain Forum RPers like it or not.

it is just a matter of getting around the massive technical hurdles.

Aye, Turalyon is home boys with the blood knights at silvermoon. A lot of people who just play wow, and do not venture outside the game, do not understand how much the faction war thing is just plain over.

Are there going to be some dissenters, of course, but it isn’t going to be the majority.

Not only that, but the alliance explicitly doesn’t like the horde, hence why they were supposed to be a faction of monster rejects and all.

But apparently a millennia-long Nuremberg Defense is fine. It strikes me as just as stupid as having the dark ranger skins on alliance.

Unless they insist upon being menaces to public safety and general hazards to navigation, in which case some wall-to-wall counseling is definitely called for.

Y’all just jealous, is all. You and your warband.

I’d stay and argue with you, but I think I’m going to go kill a bunch of succubi and man’ari eredar. Great fun!

I mean, I was going to retire to Shal’aran with the Nightfallen after the events of Legion came to a close, but after everything I did to help them, Thalyssra betrayed me and joined the Horde. So now I just go from place to place, doing whatever little tasks people need doing for whatever reward they want to give me.

It’s awesome. When I’m going to stop playing, I park myself in the Alliance’s embassy.

I’m assuming Midnight being billed as World of Elfcraft rather than a story for the third raid tier will mean a lot more room for stuff like Illidari teamups and whatnot.

No, you cannot just marry your Sayaad to get them citizenship.

The majority of the WoW community would rather die than do this.

Pffft, which is why I married a Manari. I got a red Demon space goat citizenship.

Demons have been part of the horde and alliance since legion

Why would you do that?

The succubi never did anything bad to anyone!

In fact, they’ve done plenty of good things to a lot of people!
