Now I See Why People Play Classic

So you really think retail WoW is difficult gameplay? I mean, that is a take I guess. lol

Timewalking dungeons are so hard

When comparing high end to high end yes.

Mythic raiding is miles harder in retail than heroic raiding is in classic.

Mplus dungeons at max rewards is harder than any dungeon content in classic.

What’s honestly hard in classic? Leveling? Nah it’s only time consuming. There is zero difficulty in it.

Because time walking dungeons at real end game content.

No wonder you’re clueless.

You are one of the problems in this game. Achievement points aren’t an accurate representation of what you’ve actually achieved in the game. I mean petting a bunch of animals gives you points, but what did you achieve? And I have more achievement points than you and I say it’s a stupid metric.

It’s like thinking AOTC or high RIO numbers actually mean you understand mechanics and won’t wipe a group. You just don’t pay attention to what actually means because it hurts you deep down to realize context matters, and you don’t know how to process what context means.

do heroic dungeon no problems bro if don like to play good.-…

more difficult that clasic yea

I guess you CAN’T read, not that you would choose to. I said as a FORMER Mythic raider, not a current one. And I didn’t use this toon, goofball. I played an Elemental Shaman at the time during Castle Nathria. The toon’s name was Arkah-Frostwolf at the time if you wanna go take look at Warcraft Logs to confirm that. Unless you’d rathwr just spend time worrying about my credentials, instead of carrying an actual argument.

This is just objectively not true.

Raids in Vanilla took way longer to down than any raid in retail.

People in retail are just bad at the game. When TWW classic comes out in 20 years classic players will clear Anubar Palace unnerfed first try 0 problems.

Warcraft logs logs.

Automated teller machine machine.

My friend loves Diablo 2 and he can barely stomach retail WoW, much less Classic WoW. WoW is one of the most boring games he’s ever played lol.

I’ve always thought isometric ARPGs lend themselves to really mediocre level design.

Diablo 2 is all randomly generated. In my opinion that makes it crap tier.

No they didn’t.

Classic raids have been getting fully cleared in hours rofl.

People go to classic because they aren’t good enough to perform in retail.

Classic raids have been getting fully cleared in hours rofl.

I said vanilla.

Everybody said Ulduar was hard on release but it was cleared the first day no problem.

And when TWW classic comes out the raid will be cleared on the first day.

People go to classic because they aren’t good enough to perform in retail.

I don’t play retail because it’s too easy. It holds your hand and treats you like a baby.

Anyone with half a clue knows the playerbase has evolved.

The playerbase back in vanilla compared to now would be night and day better in tww.

The majority of players didn’t even know what a macro was in vanilla.

So no you’re 100% wrong.

Because you aren’t good enough to do any real content that has some difficulty.

You hide on classic because you aren’t good. And that’s fine. It’s easier to play classic.

So you’re admitting that relative to the skill of the players classic raids are 10x harder than retail raids?

Exactly my point…classic raids are harder. They were designed to be harder.

more like people who dont like terrible changes.

I feel the same people that play Diablo Immortal are the same type of people who play WOW Retail.

God no.

Vanilla raids are braindead. The issue was that you had people clicking and didn’t know what a macro is.

People being clueless and bad doesn’t magically make a raid harder.

I raided in bc and wrath. Nothing was super complicated back then like it is now. It’s not even a comparison. Retail raids are harder than classic raids.

Incorrect as usual.

People being clueless and bad doesn’t magically make a raid harder.

Exactly. So let’s compare Molten core 20 years after release to Anubar Palace 20 years after release.

I wish I could post a line graph…

Player skill (and also technology) has been increasing faster than raid difficulty has been. Therefore, by relativity, raids are easier now. Because players have waaay more tools to deal with them. (and also raids are less punishing)

no, you just have spreadsheets and a massive instruction manual and addons to hand hold you all the way through these days. Drop all retail players into a fresh game like vanilla WoW and all you see is everyone failing and begging for youtube guides on how to step by step do everything.

take away your hand holding and step by step instructions and you retail boys are embarrassingly bad and lost and would likely quit immediately because you can’t figure anything out on your own and too lazy to do so. it’s exactly why the best old WotLK players are still the best retail pvpers and pvers today.

Hahaha no.

I have raided in this game since BC. There is nothing complicated about any classic raids right now.

As the playerbase has gotten better the raids have gotten harder. That’s why bad players crawl back to classic to be relevant again.

It’s ok no one is looking down on you for it.
